Cudy AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Ceiling Mount Access Point, 2.5GbE, OpenWRT, AP3000

Works out of the box, follow the setup webpages and it works great. On the plus side it runs a modified openwrt under the hood. They also, if you are so inclined, provide a step firmware that will enable you to step on again to 100% vanilla openwrt. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a way to improve WiFi speeds and reduce blackspots through their house. Out of the box they do a fantastic job.

Great bit of kit which has solved all my WiFi connectivity issues, inside the house AND in the garden, even 60 - 70 metres from the gateway and through two stud walls and an exterior wall that is two blocks thick! No more lagging TVs or slow computers and phones. All for one cat 6 network cable through the garage wall into the house and the Cudy gateway mounted high on the inside of that wall. It has disconnected from the router a couple of times during the month since installation and that could be a router or switch issue. Easily solved with a reboot of all three! Otherwise totally consistent and reliable. Brilliant result after 2 years messing about with several routers, WiFi band changes and two repeaters! Save yourself the money and hassle and buy this!

ok so I took a punt on these, they seemed too cheap but i was fed up with my existing wifi being slow, and the kids had gone away for the weekend so I was home alone and thought what the hell, lets have some man time playing about with new wifi gear... They arrived next day, I plugged one in, setup the passwords, ran a speed test using the Google speed test app, and "WOW" the difference was incredible! i'm getting almost double the speed i was getting before in multiple rooms around the house. Its an old Victorian house with brick walls and the 5G wifi is not struggling at all. I think for the money you really cant go wrong with these. Also once you have one setup and working, the second one will automatically get managed by the first which means changing settings like wifi network can be done from one place - no controller required. The sticky drilling guide is useful too.

Good fast AP with simple setup and mesh via Lan and/or WiFi. For the garden I use this one outdoors with a 3D printed weather protection cover

Bought this AP to replace an unreliable wireless mesh system. It works great - easy setup, much stronger signal than my router and looks tidy on the wall. Possibly not quite as configurable as more expensive makes, but I think most people just want a reliable AP that sits there and does it's job.

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Paired it with an 8 port Neatgear POE Switch, to give wired Wifi extension at home. Simple plug and play 💯

Simple installation. Good range and speed indoor. Unfortunately not compatible with outdoor accesspoint for mesh network. Size is pretty big.
