The Fall Guy (2024) - Extended Cut 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital

The best comedy, action movie that comes to mind. The story was so well crafted and the actors so believable I thought that Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt were actually dating.

This movie is awesome. With that said, if you enjoyed the OG TV show - it only has a few similarities - but resonates that vibration nonetheless, and is a wonderful action comedy. While I wish the price was slightly lower (say $10). This blu ray is still Highly Recommended. Double Blu Ray with bonus materials and theatrical version + extended version of film.

It realize it received so so reviews. But the the extended version is so much better.. I liked it very much.. funny and good acting. I did see the theater version it does suck.. watch this u will enjoy it very entertaining..

Good movie. It got a little strange for a bit, but for the most part, a good funny movie. Not like the original "Fall Guy" but it was good.

(This review is not a slight; it’s a heads up.) Well, the great news is I did receive what I ordered, and it’s always awesome when that happens. And this DVD pack comes with three discs, so chances are good that you’ll be able to view one of them at home. I haven’t bought physical DVDs in a while, so I’m out of practice with how tech is changing. But basically my goal was to buy the extended cut of this movie; that’s all I wanted. And I now have that extended cut… but it doesn’t play on my device, because the extended cut is on a 4K ultra HD BluRay disc that only plays on an ultra HD BluRay player. So if you have one of those (and I’m sure many people do), then you’re good. I’m a Flintstone, so I unfortunately do not. To add hilarious salt to the wound, the regular BluRay disc in this DVD pack is *not* the extended cut. It’s the theatrical version of the movie. So to recap… all I wanted was the extended cut. And for whatever reason, instead of making that extended cut available on all discs (and not requiring special devices to view them, which I discovered reading the tiny print that says “for use only with ultra HD BluRay player” on the circular edge of the disc) (picture #2), I now have discs that I can’t view until I buy a new player. Now, I do have the theatrical release, so that’s something! And I do really like the movie. But it’s literally not why I made this purchase, especially since this can be bought on streaming (Prime, Apple TV, etc). I first saw this movie on Peacock during the summer Olympics and they only offered the extended cut, so I saw it that way first; watching the movie at a later date on a different streamer had me wondering why some scenes were missing. So anywho. $26 later, extended cut is only for the ultra HD BluRay folks. Just figured I’d offer that heads up. It’s a good movie and the discs arrived very quickly. Edited to add: I just checked the digital download and it’s also only the theatrical release. So that’s just quite a bummer. Not sure why there were such huge letters on this case says extended release if three of the four discs/downloads don’t have it. Edit: Ok I’m going to return this, but I still think it’s great to purchase from this seller, so long as you have the right device to play it on!

I love this movie so much that I saw The Fall Guy in the cinemas multiple times and pre-ordered the Blu-Ray as soon as it was listed. The movie is funny, full of action, and wonderful chemistry and banter between the two leads. This is Colt Seavers journey of redemption after an on set accident caused him to quit his life as well as his friends and new love, Jody. Colt is a guy you can cheer for as his love for movies, ability for the physical action, and overall sweetness shines through. Colt is given the opportunity to make it right with Jody and possibly earn his old life back as her replacement stuntman on her first movie that she is directing. The cinematography and editing capture the action sequences perfectly as Colt races against the clock to save Jody's movie. The second chance romance between Colt and Jody feels effortless as Colt does his best to win her trust back and she wonders if she can count on him when things get hard. The key to this storyline working is when you realize that he is doing everything he is doing to help Jody, not just to win her back, but because he wants her to succeed. He might want her back, but he will happily do everything he is doing if he can help her finish her movie (her big break) and she still tells him to get lost. This small twist in motivation makes Colt all the more endearing. Movie fans will love all of the homages and link backs to previous films; blink and you'll miss the sheer volume of references that blend cohesively into this new story. The extra-features are fun and you can also see the director's cut of the film which has an additional action sequence and more time with the great supporting cast (their scenes are longer in this cut). But I do love the opening title sequence of the theatrical version with the cuts back and forth.

Llego muy bien protegido en el slipcover, el cual es de buena calidad y textura. La imagen es una buena mejora desde el disco blu-ray, mejorando en nitidez, saturación del color, brillo de los blancos y profundidad de los negros. El efecto HDR10 mejora este apartado. El audio en inglés Dolby Atmos es muy bueno y correcto, sin distorsiones en los diálogos o sonido ambiental. El código digital es válido solo para USA.

Loved this movie so much. Saw it twice in the theater. Great for the whole family. PG13

Very realistic account of what stuntmen do/ get injured/ come back again and are poorly appreciated and marginalised compared to the stars
