USB CAR CHARGER
The USB car charger has become one of my must-have accessories for the road. Compact, reliable, and surprisingly powerful, it delivers fast and consistent charging for both my phone and tablet while I’m driving. It fits snugly into the 12V socket without wiggling loose, and the dual USB ports are a big plus—perfect for charging two devices at once. With smart charging technology, it automatically adjusts the output to match the device’s needs, and I’ve noticed my phone charges almost as quickly as it does at home. The design is sleek and low-profile, so it doesn’t stick out awkwardly, and the LED indicator is subtle but useful for locating it at night without being too bright or distracting. No overheating, no interference with Bluetooth or radio signals, and no drop in performance even on long drives. It’s a small but highly functional addition to any car setup. If you’re looking for an affordable, durable, and efficient way to keep your devices powered on the go, this USB car charger is a no-brainer.

This works with Apple + Windows computers and phones. Simple, powerful, reliable.
This is powerful enough to keep a loaded-for-bear Apple laptop + a Windows and an Apple phone charged up just casually plugging them in during a 45 minute freeway commute in a 2015 Toyota RAV 4. I’ve tried several chargers. THIS is the one. No issues or complications. Plug it in, start the engine, it charges everything plugged in.

Upconverts from 12V to 20V
I'm happy with this thing, simply because I was having a hard time finding one of these that provide 20V on USB-C from a 12V (or really 13.8V) input. That is what is required to charge my laptops. While many of these USB-C cigarette lighter plugs say in their specifications that they can deliver 20V, what they leave out of the specs is that they will do so only if the input is more than 20V! E.g. 24V. They will only downconvert. Not upconvert. I went through a few, including from Anker, and none of them would upconvert. This one *does* upconvert. And quite nicely. It generates 20V on USB-C from a 12V input, and charges both my MacBook Pro and my ASUS Zenbook at full rate. I verify the voltage and current delivered on a USB-C tester. (By the way, those things are awesome. I have a MakerHawk USB-C tester.) In fact, I can use the two USB-C ports and charge both laptops at the same time from this adapter. They are each pulling 50-60 watts, for a total over 100W. The adapter gets a little warm, but keeps chugging along just fine. I see reports here that this adapter cannot deliver the claimed 200W. I don't have loads to test that. (Which means I don't need 200W anyway.) Up to 120W does not appear to be a problem. Overall, I recommend this adapter, a bit on the bulky side for heat dissipation, if you need upconversion. If you don't need upconversion, e.g. for charging phones and tablets, there are cheaper, smaller options.
