WORKS PERFECTLY WITH 2015 MALIBU!!!
Fits chevy Malibu 2015 perfectly. That being said, no programing was necessary. Used the old premachined working key without an issue. However make sure you watch a video on how to do it. I wound the key backwards and now it sucks it in instead of flicking it out. This isn't a real issue for us, but it may for you. There is a picture of the old key that had to ripped apart to get the chip. BEWARE YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO RIP APART YOUR OLD KEY! Again for us, not an issue as ours was failing and held together with duct tape and prayers. This worked out perfectly for us. Just needs a little time, patience, and a little finesse. The hardest part is definitely getting the key lined up and all the pieces together, it can get a little fiddlely. The screw lined up iffy, but it holds it together pretty well. The small Phillips head screw driver broke in half, so beware it is fragile, and you might want to have another one on stand by in case it busts. The wristlet that came with it is a piece of crap, the key and tools are nice, minus the fact that they are fragile. Buttons function perfectly. Definitely worth the money. All in all I would definitely buy again. This review will update if something changes.

Nice
It actually did work. I swap my old key fob and install it to the new one and it actually work. I save roughly around $150-$250.

Cheap and does not work
The original key in the fob wouldn't open up when it arrived. Tried to put the components from my remote into it and it would not work at all. Very cheap and a very inaccurate design. Had to put my old remote back together, which went back together with out any problems.

Sturdy Replacement Shell That Works Perfectly
I purchased this key fob shell to replace my old one because one of the buttons had broken, and I am very pleased with how well it works. The case arrived with the tools included, which made the process much easier. I was able to look up instructions on how to remove the components from my original key fob and transfer everything into this new shell, and the overall process was simple and straightforward. Once I finished the swap, I tested the fob and it worked perfectly. The construction feels sturdy, the buttons respond well, and the design is easy to use. For the price, this is an excellent value. It gave my old key fob a fresh start without needing to buy a whole new remote.

Good, but...... Yes I am still happy I got this for not a lot of money.
Good in a lot of ways and fine if you plan to swap the board and get the key cut that comes with it, but ...... I just want to use the key I already have; why not. The quality is good, keypad is solid and actuates the keys on the circuit board perfectly. Getting an OEM key fob open is a bit of a PIA, but one you research it you'll find that you flip the key open, slip a wide screwdriver in the gap of the open key and pry cracking the OEM case open. This provides a cheap and easy replacement for a case with worn out buttons and if you don't mind paying to get the new key cut then it is 5 stars. But ... why not just move the already cut key from the original fob and your done? Well, the notches in the plastic housing and button to flip out the key is just slightly different between the OEM and this case. So, reuse the button and key from the original and you will have to grab an xacto hobby knife and trim up the pockets in the new plastic housing to get it to work. The OEM key button has slightly wider tabs that won't sit down into the molded pockets of the replacement case. If you get the new key cut, then if you need to replace the case again later, it may be a drop in going forward, so there is an advantage not fiddling around with the OEM key. That said, they could have made this work with the OEM key, so 4 stars since everything else is perfect.

Decent with quality control issues.
Buy multiple as not all buttons for the key release line up as they should. Ones that do line up work like a dream.

Great Key Case Replacement for 2014 GMC Terrain
Car Model: 2014 GMC Terrain Key Case Price: about $8 , as compared to Dealership which might charge $350 for a new one. Assembly: With patience, it is considered easy. Compatibility: Fit my old key stick and IC board nicely into the new case. Button Push feel: Not the greatest, but Okay with just $8 pricing. Attention: The original GMC Key Case is a little tough to open. Be careful not to damage the IC board. You should watch the video multiple times to avoid the area where you might damage the IC board when you try to pry open the old case. First I pry opened near the seat of the Key Stick (where the push-button is) and then slowly pry-opened towards the low part. During the process, I broke the upper portion of bottom case (where it has battery seat) and then used a Long Needle Nose Pliers to pull the other half part of the bottom case out.
