I absolutely love this water fountain! It holds quite a bit so it lasts a while! Doesn’t make any loud noises when it runs. Super easy to setup. I don’t have mine plugged in and so far the battery life is pretty good!

Excellent water fountain that encourages kitties to drink more.App tracks each trip cats time drinking but can’t determine which cat.Very quiet! Can’t hear it at all.Only downside is the cleaning and tiny parts but it’s worth it to keep the cats access to fresh water.

I really like this fountain. One of the best features is that it’s enclosed, which helps keep the water cleaner for longer compared to more open fountain designs. With 6 cats in the house, that makes a big difference.It also holds a lot of water, so I usually only need to refill it every few days or so. That has made it much more convenient for daily use. I also appreciate that the filter is easy to clean, and the fountain itself is easy to take apart and put back together for regular cleaning.Another big plus is the app. It’s very helpful for keeping track of filter usage and water level, and the indicator lights on the fountain itself are also useful. The replacement filters are reasonably priced, which makes ongoing maintenance less of a hassle.We try a new cat fountain every year, and this is one we’ll definitely be keeping. Overall, I’d give it 5 stars.

Updated review:The filters are back in stock. I ordered two packs just to be safe. My cats really like this water fountain. I keep it plugged in so I can have it on continuous mode with the battery as an option in case the power goes out. The app has setting options for intermittent and battery mode if you don’t want to use it plugged in. You can set running times. For example If it switches over to the battery, my mine is set up to run for 3 minutes and stop for 1 minute. Cleaning this fountain is easy but I used regular metal tweezers to take out of the spinner and clean the pump. I think cleaning it took me less than a couple minutes to take apart and wash everything. I love that the power is separate, it just makes a difference. Also I noticed no splashing. I have use a lot of different water fountains for my cats and there is always some splashing but I haven’t seen any water on the mat at all with this fountain. I will update the review as I use it longer.Original review:I already had an oxbot water fountain that I and my cats really like but Amazon does not carry it anymore and I can’t find the filters for it.I bought this water fountain specifically because I thought that it would be easy to get replacement filters for it. The product itself is easy to use. It was easy to setup on the app. It does lacks features provided by cheaper brands but I thought the quality of the water fountain itself off set that.I went to buy replacement filters today and I can’t find them at all. They are unavailable and a replacement date is not listed. Also you have to buy the pump filters separately from the main filters. I think that is a bit odd, with other brands it comes as a set. Having to make two separate filter purchases is a bit expansive and adds to the overall cost of maintaining the water fountain. I will give a it couple more days to for the replacement filters. If I don’t see them then I will return the product. I just don’t want the same problem I had before. Great fountain no filters.

I absolutely LOVE this water fountain for my three cats. I have tried a cheap plastic one from Walmart, a bigger ceramic one from Chewy, and then a big one gallon stainless steel one from Chewy. Every single one of these bowls were such a hassle to clean with crevices you can't get to or plastic parts and the ceramic or stainless steel ending up receiving a biofilm from the cats. Granted I've only had this fountain for a week, and I will update it if anything changes, however so far this is amazing. The ingenuity of using wireless power to operate the pump is probably one of the greatest features alone. I didn't think much of it when I made my purchase, but not having to fiddle with running the cord properly from the bowl to the outlet is just a God send. This fountain holds 3L of water, which is not too far from a gallon of water. The nice thing about this fountain is the majority of the water is enclosed where no dust, bugs, or any debris will get into the water. The stainless steel water dish has a non stick coating and is a shallow dish. Which is very nice to help prevent water from getting filthy and the dish easy to clean preventing biofilm build up. The fact that this fountain has an app to help track how often your pets are using the fountain is just amazing. It has a lot of different modes and when you run it purely on the battery you can set how often the water circulates and also turn on sensor mode so when your cat comes to drink it cycles the water. This water fountain also comes with, and I know this sounds weird to be excited about, but a really well made pipe cleaner with tweezers at the other end. After a week, I tool it apart to clean and it only took a few short minutes and I was so impressed to see very little hair in the main water reservoir. I can't say enough great things and I hope the days, weeks, months, and years to come this fountain will continue to serve me well. One more note, PetKit also sells a pump that sterlizes water using UV. I'm definitely going to be upgrading my pump after this great experience.

4 MONTH UPDATE: This was great until it wasn’t. There is a cover over the spout that isn’t removable and is impossible to clean properly because there are cracks that the brush doesn’t fit into. This holds bacteria and grows mold. The battery life reporting is also not accurate. Switched to another brand that makes ceramic fountains and just track intake with a camera.I got this to replace the other app monitoring water fountain I had, because the parts for that one are not at all durable. This one seems to be MUCH more well-made, and I love that it has the option to run off of battery so you can put it anywhere. It also appears to be much more consistent in tracking when my cat actually has used the fountain. It does not, however, tell you how MUCH your cat has drank - only how long they drank for. I’m okay with that.The biggest downside to this fountain in comparison to the competition that I already owned, is that this fountain DOES NOT have the ability to connect to WiFi on its own in order to control the fountain while you’re away from home. It relies solely on Bluetooth. This means you have to have either a smart feeder or smart litter box in order to control this fountain remotely, or even see its status to make sure it is working. This is clearly a ploy by the company to get folks to spend more money on more products, which is very frustrating.If this had the ability to connect to WiFi so I could at a minimum, make sure it was running correctly while away from home, I would give it five stars. However, I took off two due to the clear money-grab attempt by the company here. I would’ve paid more money to have this be able to function wirelessly, independent of another device!If you don’t care about that fact - it’s a 5/5. It’s a beautiful fountain that seems to function very well, my cat loves it, and it’s very easy to clean.

Both of my cats have been drinking out of fountains for years.Pros:1. This fountain is very quiet. So quiet that you can't hear the spout pouring over. The dB levels were lower than my Petlibro fountain as this is in my bedroom. I can't hear a thing!2. Stainless steel bowl - it may seem minor, but I prefer this to keep items clean and prevent mold.3. It can run plugged in AND on battery. I run it plugged in, but if the power goes out and I am away, the cats will still have access to flowing water. This is BIG for me.4. You can monitor drinking through an app. It can tell you how long the cat has been drinking at the fountain, when the water level is running low, and suggestions/reminders on when to clean and replace filters.Cons:1. I use it in my room, so there is a bright light from the fountain. Not a hassle as I put sticky notes over it, but something to note if you plan on placing it in a bedroom.2. If you do not have another Petkit device that uses wifi, you can not monitor the device if you are away from home. It does not use wifi, but Bluetooth for monitoring through the app. This is one of the downsides that almost made me cancel after ordering (didn't notice until afterward).3. The drinking times are inaccurate. I watched my cat drink for about 15 seconds and the app reported it for 44 seconds.4. The TINY sponge filter that it uses, I do not understand why some fountains choose to use that for filtration. It's as skinny as 3 - 4 quarters.I love the steel bowl that it pours into, the capacity size, and the option to use it on battery, but since I cannot monitor my cats when I am away from the house, it's not worth the price that I paid for it. I am fine monitoring manually just like a regular fountain when I am home, but if I am going to spend $90 for the device with this feature, I would like to be able to use it without having another Petkit item.

I have tried many water fountains from plastic to stainless steel and of all of them, even purchased a Petlibro water fountains as well. But This outshines the Petlibro one and The best part, it cost less, works better and is completely silent. Unlike Petlibro, petkit app functions well, is data driven and neat and orderly. It gives you data on how many times your fur babies are visiting the water, how long your battery will last off power cord, and allow you to set up how long you want your fountain to run while giving you an accurate battery life adjustment. Im only a couple months in, but love this water fountain so much. It is better than petlibro's water fountains (I have bought all of them and donated most of them). I still have petlibro's docking system one and abhor how much water is wasted by my cats licking the water on the side and spilling it. The water remains in the petkit fountain, no mess or spills, and no concerns about the battery getting wet, or even the charging cords from condensation or spills. This water fountain is the best on the market so far and I hope it lasts me a long while. I would like to get another one, but am waiting for the Petlibro one to die first.I now need an automatic food dispenser that is rfid/microchip readable from petkit please with camera! The petlibro one sucks and keeps kicking me off the app or on wifi and food gets stuck constantly! Please make this happen as I know petkit can do it better!
