Will this work with the lee challenger breech lock press?

Is this bench plate required for the 4 hole turret press?

you can directly bolt your press to a bench. But if your like me and have more then 1 press you just secure a wood plate to each press which the kit has 2 that way instead of having to unbolt your press you just loosen screws to brackets that hold wooden blocks to the bracket to change presses out. I didn't think so at first but once you get into different calibers of ammo from pistol to rifle you will have more then 1 press

How solid/sturdy is this once you slid the pates in. Is there pin or anything to lock them in place when in use?

No! there is no pin to lock it, I had to drill hole in back side of the wood through the steel plat into my bench, because it slide out on me when I was reloading, and I put a screw in it to lock in place!

Will this fit the redding boss 2 ?

You might have to drill holes to fit that press specifically.

I have a mobile reloading work station I made out ...

I have a mobile reloading work station I made out of an mdf board fitted on a mechanic's tool trolley as a work top with a mechanic's drawer system on top of that which I can pull out from under the stairs and slide back whenever I need. This plate really helped stiffen up the mdf board when I was using the press.

If you don't have a lot of space this is a great addition to your reloading bench. I use it for a Lee pro 1000 and a Lee single stage press. There are enough bases to mount 3 presses. Changing presses is a breeze and it is very sturdy and well made.
