What size are these? The product description states 2"x2", however the technical details state 4.4" x 3.4"?

4.4 x 3.4 x 1.2 inches is the size of the packaging. Each individual sanding pad is 2"x2".

I have the souveran 800. the ink flow is not there making it slow to start and skip. what can i do, if anything, about this? can i use micro mesh?

I would wash the nib thoroughly in a solution specifically made for that purpose. Check that you are using ink specifically made for fountain pens. Others would clog the nib. Lastly, yes... You can use the higher grade of this sanding pads to hone your nib. Highest is 12000 grade. Hope this helps.
