He loved nyc, was incredibly witty, handsome, just a nice person and generous. He was so easy to fall in love with. Sabrina matched his wit, and was strong and determined. These two were just perfect together. NYC is one of my favorites places, so finding out some hidden secrets around the city was fun! A great read that kept me up well into the night.

Usually you'd find me here gushing about the newest #BlakelyBoy that I’ve fallen in love with, but today I'm all about the girl! Sabrina Granger is who I'd want to be, if I was just starting out in my adult life! She's a little bit quirky, incredibly devoted, strong, independent, and determined. I love the relationship she has with her brother, how committed she is to making sure he has everything he needs to realize his dream, even if it means putting herself second. Pretty sure she is my favorite of Ms. Blakely's heroines, she really is quite awesome.Now, this is not to say that I wasn't totally head over heels for Flynn Parker, because I was. I really was. He's charming and adorable, extremely loyal (I want to be one of his employees), and always has time to listen, which I found totally endearing.Together, Sabrina and Flynn are just delightful! From their very first meeting, to the “Another Epilogue”, Come As You Are is everything that is good and right when it comes to a Lauren Blakely romcom. It was sexy and sweet, and there was a playfulness between the characters that I just loved.I adore how Ms. Blakely incorporates the locations into her stories and leaves me wanting to hop on a plane to visit all the unique places she mentions. And this book was no exception- I even found myself Googling some of them, to see if they really existed! It was fun to visit them alongside Sabrina and Flynn, it was such an entertaining way for them to get to know each other.Come As You Are is sweet and sexy, with just the right amount of humor and heart. Ms. Blakely truly is the queen of the contemporary romcom. I don't know how she does it, but as long as she keeps writing characters and stories as enjoyable as this one, I'll keep coming back for more!

Lauren Blakely does it again with Come As You Are. Its fun, witty with great characters and story line all things we have come to expect from Ms Blakely.Flynn Parker is not only a genius he is a rich sexy genius. A self proclaim nerd he and his twin brother built and sold a company and made millions. Now starting over again with a new product on his own he is worried about his employees and making it work. He has also been burned in the past in that girls he has dated only want him for his money. So when the opportunity arises and he meets a girl that doesn't know how he is not only was the hook up mind blowing the conversation was fantastic. That is until he meets her face to face the following day and he learns that this is the same girl who has his whole future in her hands.Sabrina Granger needs a fresh start - between her ex fiance and losing her job its not been a great few years. When her best friend drags her to a masquerade ball its a perfect time to meet people and not worry. Then she meets the guy who rocked her world (up against a wall) and she gets a freelance job to interview one of the most influential men in the tech world. Then she realizes that the guy and the interview are one in the same - Flynn Parker. Now forced to spend time with him and not act on her feelings is torture.What can I say - CAYA is a classic Lauren Blakely book. I also loved the trip through New York she took us on. A lot of her stories are based in New York but I think this is the first one I felt like we really explored the city. For someone who has never been there I now have a list of where to visit. I believe that she just keeps getting better and better with exposition as well as her character development. Especially over the last few books. We did meet some interesting secondary characters - especially Kermit. I really hope we get a chance to explore his story.

This is one of my favourite way for a couple to meet in a book, a fabulous masquerade ball!! it is so fairytalesque! And the fairytale didn't disappoint, Flynn was the perfect Prince charming, handsome, smart, kind, sexy and swoon worthy.Sabrina was not a damsel in distress, who needed rescuing, but she did have a few of life's obstacles in her way, and although a modern women never needs a man to take care of them, sometimes a hand to hold along the way sure is nice.I loved both characters, they were a delight to get to know, as was the setting, once again I get to enjoy a little of the area that Sabrina and Flynn live in as Lauren describes the scenes and areas so well.Another few places to add to my places to see on my book scenes map of the world courtesy of Authors read.

This is a gorgeous, sweet & sexy book featuring a really likeable heroine and a hero who will sweep you off your feet. There's no real angst. There is some heat. It's a well written love story that will absolutely brighten your day.HEA? YesCheating? No

It's witty, funny, romantic, mushy, sexy and fun. Not so much comedy but it's light hearted and addictive enough to keep you wanting more. You get to take the journey with the characters as they both grow in terms of self development, and the relationship. Makes me want to do what they've done in the book, looking for new sights ans treadutes, and hope to find my own witty, romantic and cute poetry nerd.

My first of this author. Chic flick, I usually love this type of genre ...but it was lacking a little. Perhaps I was looking for more passion between the couple!?Come as you are I guess is word play on the fact that anyone can have chemistry regardless of circumstance, be it rich or poor ...anywho an easy read, and was finished off nicely.

Just love to sit down and read books from lauren Blakely that never fell to make me swoon. Beautifully written as always now on to read part time lover😊

I really enjoyed Flynn and Sabrina's story it made me laugh, such a light hearted book, I was worried when her mother came along but Flynn had already made his mind up about Sabrina, I will definitely read more from Lauren.

Sabrina and Flynn met each other in the cutest of ways and the story developed beautifully. Just my kind of book! With w read for sure

It was hot.

I absolutely loved this book! The characters were so well developed and written, and were realistic! The storyline captured me from the start and I couldn't put it down once I started. I think we all know with these standalone romances there will be a HEA but I love finding out how they get there. Those little twists and turns that keep us guessing. I didn't see some of the little twists in this one. I loved Sabrina and Flynn's exploration through NY as they tried to deny the chemistry between them and remain professional. That their friends and family supported them and encouraged them to follow their hearts was even better.Highly recommend this book - great contemporary romance!
