Great for seniors with bad knees
### Why I Purchased This I am incredibly impressed with the reliability of this tool. I originally ordered this for my 64-year-old father, who has significant knee issues. His biggest hurdle isn't walking—it's the difficult transition from a kneeling position to standing while working on house projects. I was concerned it might be too small or flimsy for a grown man, but it has proven to be the perfect support system for his needs. ### Stability & Rise The stability is what sets this apart. Unlike a simple cane, which requires you to be centered directly over the top to avoid it kicking out, the wide non-slip base allows him to balance his weight at an angle. This makes the rise from the floor much safer, as he can use it as a solid anchor point to pull and push himself up simultaneously without it wobbling. ### Functionality & Height Adjustment The functionality is perfect for an active senior. The 6-size height adjustment is easy to operate with push-buttons that click securely into place. We found that the lower settings are ideal for getting up from a kneeling position during repairs (like fixing baseboards), while the higher settings work perfectly as a transition aid from a seated chair or his workbench. ### Quality & Size In terms of quality, the heavy-duty metal construction feels professional-grade. It supports a 600lb weight capacity, which gave my father immediate confidence. Regarding size, the base is wide enough to prevent tipping but compact enough that it doesn’t get in the way of his feet while he’s standing up. It effectively acts as a "portable grab bar" that he can move exactly where he needs it. ### Weight & Portability Despite the rugged build, the weight is light enough for daily transport. He is in his final year of retirement and actually takes it to his workplace every day. It has held up well to a demanding environment and fits easily in a vehicle. ### Pros Ease of getting up: Large ergonomic handle provides a firm grip even for older joints. Versatility: Works just as well in the garden or workshop as it does in the living room. Reliability: The locking pins are sturdy and do not slip under pressure. ### Cons Surface Dependent: The base performs best on flat, solid surfaces. ### Final Verdict If you have a loved one with limited mobility who still wants to remain independent in their DIY or trade work, this is a "buy-it-once" kind of tool. It provides much more confidence than a standard walker or cane.

Great for older moms
It makes it so easy for my mom , who is in her 80s, to get up from the floor. It is sturdy, as well as, lightweight.

Works fairly well.
Slightly on the flimsy side, however it can support my weight.

Too short
Nice product, but the height isn’ adjustable and it is a little short for me.

not real stable for us
My husband needs a llittle assist getting up off the floor. Having just one post was not enough support for him to get up. He needs something he can put in front and push off with both hands.

NO STABILITY FOR SENIORS
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is senior, disabled or has weak arm or hand muscles. It is a good idea in theory. I am a senior but I still do all my own housework, gardening, DIYing around the house, etc... when I'm tired or not feeling 100% I still need to stay active but could use a little help getting up when I'm kneeling. This mobility tool is NOT stable! I used it to get up placing it on a tile floor. The first thing I didn't like was that the handle did not have any foam or grippy tape (like around a bike handle or golf club...). It was just a round metal handle that wasn't even large enough for a firm, stable grip. Foam would've been good here, especially for elderly hands. Then the base... it's fairly flexible! That meant that the tool could and would flex a bit when pushed down on! That said, when I tried it, it did! Nearly broke my wrist when I pushed down on it to get up. The tool fell forward under pressure and my wrist twisted. What it could use here is a wider, more firm base to withstand the pressures of a person pushing down upon it. About the only thing I liked on this was the push button height adjustment. that was the only sturdy thing on this alleged standing aid device. I used it at a couple of levels and the tool acted the same at both levels, high and low.

Just what I needed
I love this thing. Perfect for having another push-point a foot or so in front of me when getting up from the toilet. I don't understand those who say is is wobbly. I find it very firm, and I have it extended as high as it will go. I like this so much, I bought another one for my older sister in another state. I may buy another for use other places in my house. 9.5 out of 10.

This is a great help to me. Both of my knees need to be replaced. When I kneel down I have to have some support to get back up. This more than does the job. It has been great.

As a disabled person, I thought it was taller at this height. It is no good for me to get up even up with bed
