9V Pure One DAB Radio power supply replacement adaptor

Yes, we've all done it, or had it done to us at some point.That drawer or cupboard that ends up housing all the leads and power supplies that get forgotten about over time and then one day you open said receptacle to find a Quatermass Experiment of tangled wires and PSUs only to properly see your arse and then throw the lot out with the justification that if they got into this mess just sitting, neglected in a cupboard for years then we don't need them do we?Great idea! Tidy up, declutter your life, sit back and feel good about your positive move to a stress free life. Then fast forward a few years when you uncover a forgotten electrical device...... "ooooooh" you say, "what's this little gem?" and your eyes light up in child-like wonder as you realise you still have this long forgotten gadget you bought for that thing you were going to do but now can't remember.You are all nostalgic for that thing you were going to do and you decide to resurrect this half remembered project and actually do it...... only to find that the thing you found needs power. What about batteries? it takes batteries you realise and when you open the battery compartment you find it takes 400 AA batteries (that might be a slight exaggeration) so you decide to look for the PSU that came with it...... BUT NOOOOOOO!You decluttered your life to make it better but this cruel twist of fate has now meant you have to purchase a replacement PSU for the one your carefree attitude to interior feng shui made you get rid of, oh the irony.Anyway this PSU was bought to power an old label printer I wanted to use rather than buy a tonne of batteries just to print a few things off, so I bought this and now it literally lives in a drawer with the printer so that they don't go their separate ways in the future.

So far is a good replacement adaptor for the old Intempo, which is a great little radio but kept cutting out. With this adaptor working well, it obviously isn't the set that is faulty, but it didn't like the previous multiple voltage power supply.

The plug was exactly what I wanted as the original plug got damaged, and this option was by far the cheapest replacement, very pleased with it.

I bought this for my older DAB radio.It was 9v specification, however, it DOES NOT FIT. PLEASE DO NOT BUY. IT WILL NOT FIT ON THE SMALL CIRCULAR PORT ON THE POWER LEAD.Total waste of money. 😑

Charger arrived promptly, it was to replace a relatives charger that was held together with tape, very happy with this replacement, no negative comments about it.

The tip on the cable is too large to fit into the rafio. Had to be sent back.
