I bought this primarily to use as a little projector for art purposes, I wanted to copy line drawings onto big canvases for painting. It's great for that use but it's actually very decent quality for watching movies and shows as well. It's small enough to be unobtrusive and easy to move around and the image quality is great. I've used it to watch shows on the wall in my office where we don't have room for a tv and the image quality is super easy to adjust, bright and clear. I connected a JBL speaker using the headphone jack but it's actually got an onboard speaker as well. Well worth the money and will get a lot of use outside my original reason for buying.
