Having been diagnosed with at risk of Type 2 diabetes I have taken up home exercise. An hour on cross trainer and an hour doing weights. Bought there as I wanted different weight for different muscles but not having much room. They give instant weight change in a compact holder frame. They are bigger than a normal dumb bell but you quickly get used to varying the exercise method to easily adapt to them. Made from solid metal, with a plastic holder. The holder has lugs that allow for plate changes so must be used to not only store the weights but to allow adjustment, and the dial on the hand grip is easy to rotate. Having a easy to read scale its quick and robust. I have full confidence in them not falling apart in use due to the design and have a simple easy plate release should there be any issues when picked up. The box they were delivered in was robust thick cardboard with well made polystyrene formed liner to well protect the weight. Each in its own box so not too heavy to carry and no damage. I believe the price is good for these weights.

Work well and are nice to handle. Only a couple of times some of the old weights got jammed when switching, but that could've easily been an error on my part and it's easy to detect by having a look and seeing that the two dumbbells are different, which you should be doing when lifting weights anyway. Great for the price, half the price of anything similar to seemingly no drawbacks other than perhaps a less fancy visual design.

Love these - They save so much space and changing the weight is very simple, just a couple of clicks. They can feel a little shaky, but thats to be expected with adjustable weights. good value for money would recommend especially if you are just getting into weights and want to progress without shelling out a lot of cash. Be aware they may get shipped at different times, so you might be without the second dumbell for a day or so!

Great little set for our home gym. The plates do slip. So caution does need to be taken. And they are on the larger side. So some exercises are more difficult. But easy to work around. Husband loves them.

a plate just fell off onto my shoulder mid set. The pin that was holding that plate in is completely loose now meaning not only can it not hold that weight, I can't even put the handle back onto the plates so the only way it can work now is if I take the same plate out on both sides. Also the handle doesn't twist very well anymore and I have to move all the plates a little bit to get it all lined up right. It's never been dropped or knocked at all. The seller also refuses to speak to customers, if Amazon won't help I will be dealing with my credit card provider under section 75 of the consumer credit act, I recommend anybody else with issues does that too. Things like this put me off Amazon, they used to be dependable now they just seen to let people get ripped off by unresponsive sellers.

The product comes split into 4 boxes and there was a delay in the 4th box arriving. The seller was super helpful and offered to replace the 4th box, which incidentally arrived before I had agreed to the replacement so that was good. The dumbbells themselves come in a cradle each, a that makes them easier to shift round the room that I use to work out. The mechanism is smooth and the increments are just about right - not too big, not too small. The grip is good and works well with the lifting pads I wear, the item is compact enough to slide into a corner and saves space. Would recommend then rather than having a whole rack of 2-40kg dumbbells.

Great and get the job done whilst saving a lot of space the mechanical means they have a slight balance shift at lower weights due to the clips

I am happy with the product, however it arrived damaged and shows signs of use , so that’s why I give it 2 stars 😔 I feel like I received a second hand item, and that’s not worth paying full price for.
