Great for the price
This is our second set of these. We use them snowmobiling. First set lasted 6 winters of very harsh use sometimes in temps way below zero. Fully charged they lasted an entire day of riding. Distance is as advertised...about a quarter mile. Speaker and mic. installation is a bit tricky in snowmobile helmets due to the padding and insulation. We don't use for music or phone...the buttons are waaay too small to be messing with while in motion. These have exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. Also, like others have mentioned, the instruction booklet is almost useless. Written by someone who knows very little english....funny just trying to read it!!! YouTube has some videos making it very easy to set up.

Good Value Once You Figure Out How to Use Them
The instructions are horrible. Don't expect to take these out of the box, sync them, and head off for your ride. There is a learning curve. We basically had to learn by trial and error, then write our own instructions. It's just my wife and I together on a Goldwing so we can't speak to using these between several bikes. But once we figured them out, we were happy. I'm hard of hearing but could hear her well over the road noise, bike, and radio. We did get caught in a little rain and they survived.Plus, they seem to be holding up in the off season with only maintenance charging every month.

extremely loud speakers and high quality
I havent tested battery life yet. I put this into my x-large scorpion street bike helmet & it fit perfectly. I had to buy a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver & headphone splitting adapter so I could listen to music from my phone and use my radar detector. It would be nice if you could share music... that way I could share my radar detector sounds. However I have been liking this product its pretty high quality.. When I blow into the microphone the wind noise disappears. the main unit is pretty lightweight I was very impressed. The swap between phone and intercom mode is about 7 seconds at the most- most times it is fairly instant. The helmet clip is non invasive and can easily be swapped to another helmet and it came with extra velcro pads so you can easily own a couple helmets and swap between the two. in under a couple of minutes.

Great coms
We have had these for 2 years now and have enjoyed them on the back woods trails.Just today I went to charge them but misplaced the USB cables and have no idea where I put them. Are the USB cables sold separately? If so, I need to get a couple to have around the house and camper.

Instructions unclear
My husband and I have wasted a lot of time, that we could have been riding, just trying to get the two devices to communicate with each other. The problem is that the instructions were written by someone who has minimal grasp of the English language, at best. They don't make any sense at all. However, on the rare occasions that, after endless button pushing and "can you hear me now?"s, we somehow got them working, they were great, much clearer than the ones we had in the past.

They are okay, fragile brackets though.
The brackets are very fragile. I have already broken both of them and had to Velcro the unit to the helmet. Very inconvenient. I am hoping the Seller will send me new brackets. Audio quality using the intercom is good, but music is very tinny and loud.. almost too much to handle. Range is good in the open. Easily 1/4 to 1/3 mile or so.
