This is a very good AC, it has large indoor and outdoor, large indoor equals bigger cooling coil so more cooling. Its cooling capacity is 5422Watts which is highest in 1.5 Ton range, not only in Hitachi range but also in all other companies, its actual tonnage comes at 1.54 Ton. This AC is easily suitable for upto 200-220 sq ft room. It has large air throw, with horizontal and vertical swings with double flaps. It has turbo mode called powerful which makes it run on full capacity for faster cooling. Remote is large and stylish with multiple buttons like sleep, economy, silent, timer. AC has extra feature like WiFi, auto cleaning of indoors called Ice Clean 🧊🌨️FrostWash. There is another model available 5600XXL with same feature but without WiFi. Tip - to calculate tonnage of any AC divide cooling capacity by 3517. It's a great product at a great price, got it for 43k in sale. I would like to list out the few points after a month usage.Pro's:1. No brand comes closer in terms of cooling at this price, even though my room is pent house with direct sunlight on all the walls and roof the cooling is instant.2. It's a smart AC, so can be operated through mobile and other perks like smart fence, remote cool etc...3. Power consumption is surprisingly low for this capacity, around 10hrs+ usage everyday gave me 500/- extra bill.4. The IDU is big and stylish and ODU is big and metal, very heavy condenser (just the grill on the ODU is made of plastic).5. Remote is one major pro with big keys and detailed layout and also has backlit display.6. This is not mentioned anywhere but it's awesome, the temperature can be adjusted in ½ degree (23 to 23.5) like that, it's very helpful to get the right preference.7. It does have a anti corrosion coating on the u bends inside IDU blue color coating, again not mentioned anywhere they should do better marketing lol 😅Con's:1. It's bit on noisy side, I never use the fan speed above level 3, feels like a jet 😂. Actually ODU is more quiet than IDU.2. The installation is not upto the standards, they just have 3rd party contractors, not very specialized in Hitachi brand, so I had to search myself for all of my queries.

Dear Hitachi Customer Care,I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response regarding the ongoing issue with my Hitachi air conditioner. Despite multiple attempts to contact the service center (10-20 calls in the past two days), I have received no reply.After the recent repair, the problem resurfaced within 1-2 hours, despite assurances from the technicians that it was fixed. Additionally, I was not informed that removing the compressor would cause a gas leakage, which has only worsened the situation. We have now been facing this recurring issue for over a week.Furthermore, during installation, I was charged ₹1,600, whereas the official website mentions ₹700. This discrepancy raises concerns about miscommunication or improper charges.This is by far the worst service experience I have faced. If the issue is not resolved within two days, I will be left with no choice but to escalate the matter to the consumer court.I expect an immediate resolution and a clear response from your team.

If you have a room larger than 200 sq. ft. but don’t want to go for a 2-ton AC, the Hitachi 1.5 Ton 5-Star Heavy Duty AC is an excellent choice. My 230 sq. ft. room cools down in less than five minutes, and the performance has been outstanding. It is superior to Panasonic, Daikin, LG, Samsung and several other brands when it comes to cooling. This is my 8 th ac from past 12 years, never excited like this and hence writing review.This is not looks ac, This is feature and functional AC. The parts starting from remote to the ryoku stand provided at 1000 rs, they are super rugged.Coming to the fan speed you don't need fan anywhere in room mine is 14x20 and under 20 mins everything is cool and unique 2 layer fan outlet and swing make it more convenient. Until 14 feet you don't need fam at speed 3 or 4. Silent is another amazing feature if you want to have extreme silence.Connecting to wifi was a bit tricky, bit forgot to talk to the installation guys. Hitachi installation guys are also very professional and did everything to save money and ensure safety of product.Overall amazed and will update if something changes over time
