Just a couple of constructive comments; a screwdriver is needed to change batteries, a integral key ring would be a useful addition.

I like the price and the fact it uses regular AAA batteries. Flashlight is small but ok. Only thing I wish this had was a ring for my key chain. The alarm is quite loud too.

La verdad que pita bastante fuerte, hasta el punto que notas como te vibra el tímpano, el botoncito naranja enciende un led que da bastante Luz.Yo lo utilizo cuando voy a la playa y dejo la mochila junto a la sombrilla , cuando te bañas siempre piensas en que te pueden robar la mochila en algún descuido, yo pongo la alarma en un bolsillo lateral y saco el cordoncito por un agujero del bolsillo de malla de mi mochila y lo sujeto al palo de mi sombrilla, si tengo la mala suerte que me intentan robar la mochila por descuido, por lo menos tengo la certeza que me voy a enterar y el que se lleve la mochila le va a estar pitando todo el tiempo.La forma de activarse la alarma es un jack de 2,5 ( como el conector de los auriculares) que está conectado a la alarma y cuando se saca empieza a pitar.Muy buena compra la recomiendo

Très bonne alarme portative. Un peu grande mais quel boucan ! Sachez que en cas de stress soudain, comme une attaque en rue par exemple, la plupart des gens se figent et perdent totalement leur voix pour crier à l'aide. Cette alarme autour du cou ou du poignet, dans les quartiers '''difficiles""", sera bien utile.

I bought seven of these Vigilant Personal Protection alarms for Christmas. One for me and one for each of my grown daughters and granddaughters. I want to keep all my girls safe and feel this will really help do that. They arrived promptly and in great shape. They are small and lightweight enough to easily carry in purse or pocket or attach to whatever you want with the strap. I love the bright flashlight for whenever you need one, and also the fact that they use simple AAA batteries and you don't have to make a trip to Batteries Plus to get them. We tried the alarm and it was ear piercing!!! Surely would chase away any predator or attacking animal! Or summon help if needed in many possible situations. This is a quality alarm, well worth the money. You won't go wrong getting this one.
