I like the powerful blend of ingredients that has combined effects of hydration, gentle exfoliation, environmental protection and pore care. The serum is a clear semi-thick serum without fragrance. It is applied nightly with ease and dries quickly with no residual stickiness. My face and neck in the morning felt really smooth. It will take time to evaluate further effects. Do make sure that you have no open skin blemishes on your face or hands because it does sting a lot if you do. I had a papercut on my finger, and it was like pouring alcohol on it. So do be careful about that. Unfortunately, I don’t have their other products (Alphascience; HA Booster) to apply as suggested on their website instructions after the Alpha Night Peel serum application. However, I do think that this is a unique nightly serum that I can use along with my other facial products without problems. Perhaps you might get greater benefit if using the same brand combined. This is a French product that contains the excellent Alpha-Arbutin, an all-star ingredient that helps with melanin-fueled hyperpigmentation. If you have ever tried to get rid of dark spots, you know that hydroquinone works wonders, but you are unable to buy it anymore. I was excited to discover this product containing Alpha-Arbutin because it is derived from hydroquinone. This serum has helped even my skin tone and lighten some of the dark spots that I have on my face. However, this price is incredibly out of reach, especially considering that you used to be able to buy hydroquinone fairly cheaply.

Whenever I use this ALPHASCIENCE Alpha Night Peel – Unifying, Resurfacing Serum on my face at night, in the morning, my face looks so much brighter. The texture is finer. I'm pleased to say that it also looks like my pores even seem smaller and...cleaner. Whatever this night peel does, it does it painlessly and it does it without stressing my skin. I don't have itching or dryness in my skin while I use this. I am planning on using this a few times a week right now. That number of times seems perfect currently. I may increase it later; I may not. My skin is vastly improved when I do use it: bright, luminous, and feeling refreshed. Recommended. Be careful if you have sensitive skin, however.

This is a review for “Alpha Night Peel – Unifying, Resurfacing Serum - Helps Smooth Uneven Skin - For Oily & Acne Prone Skin and Fine Lines and Wrinkles - 30 ml / 1 fl. oz.” For reference, I have normal to dry skin that has recently become a little more sensitive to products. This product arrives in a gorgeous cobalt blue eyedropper bottle and is one fluid ounce. It is a clear fluid that has just a slight chemical smell to it. After recently having a reaction to a completely unrelated product, I now understand why many products suggest testing it on another part of your body and waiting 24 hours before going straight into your face. This is a pretty strong product in my opinion. I strongly advise doing a patch test first. The package suggests using three or four drops in the palm of your hand for your entire face and neck. I found that to be not enough product to make it not such a pain to spread over your face and neck. I probably use about twice that amount. I would say it takes a little longer to fully dry down. You might want to apply this and then brush your teeth and then go in with whatever the next product is you put on your face. That will give it ample time to dry down and absorb. I took two stars off for the price. While it has nice ingredients in the formulation, there are other products available at a lower price point with the same ingredients.

I am pleased with this product for being highly effective and getting to work straight away. Upon application this thin, almost water weight, serum tingles just a bit and has a slight scent of menthol. It is a very slight scent - I normally find menthol scents disgusting, this is typically a deal breaker for me, but this is very light and it goes away almost instantly. This gets to work immediately and you'll notice a difference quickly. I cannot use this every night, and I don't need to, as once or twice a week is all I need for effective results. That is a win for me and I happily recommend this!

I like using this once a week for a more intense exfoliation. So far it's been working well. It helps smooth out my skin texture the next morning and makeup applies better. I think it's also been helping with some stubborn old acne marks as well. They seem a little bit lighter.

This is a facial serum for resurfacing. I have found it to be effective on raised age spots around my hair line. It’s a clear fragrance free liquid and I really like that I can spot treat with this. It dries quickly and stays where I put it. I’ve noticed smoothing and reduction of rough areas around age spots. This is as effective as I’ve seen, I like the improvement.

This serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. I have been using it every night, before I apply my moisturizer, to my face, neck and décolletage. When I wake up, my skin definitely feels smoother and brighter. I have had people ask me if I've had something done to my face. Could be a coincidence, but I dunno. The clear serum has a pretty thick consistency, and it has a slight fragrance. It is a little tacky when you first apply it, but it dissipates. I am really liking this serum! This product is made in France.
