Lightweight and durable
This pretty little light is very useful for a quick dive. It's actually pink, not red but it's a beautiful color. It's very lightweight so it's easy to hold or attach to your BCD. I didn't keep it on for my entire dive but I did a 2-hour dive and the battery was not depleted by the end of the dive. It's a nice sturdy light so it seems very durable. The beam is focused and bright for such a small light. It's so lightweight that I plan to get a few to give to divemasters when I drive around the world. I think it would make an excellent tip. It comes with two rechargeable batteries and a charging cradle which is super convenient. You can charge One battery while you're using the other and then keep swapping between dives.

A Great Dive Light
When I started diving, a dive light was a luxury gadget, and sometimes it caused more headaches. These days, a dive light is a must, even for day dives, mainly because it gets cheaper, more powerful and much smaller. When I got this light I was surprised how light and small it is. It is very easy to operate, with or without gloves, and the indicator is helpful. It uses one standard 18650 battery, which I already have plenty. I would avoid any lights that use proprietary battery system. I like 18650 or 26650 batteries, most of which can provide very large lumen and last for at least one hour or more. I can simply swap the batteries between the dives. A charger is included as well. It is indeed very bright and powerful, significantly brighter than 800 lumen light which my dive buddy carried. I used this light in my recent dive trip in Okinawa Japan. I was super happy with it, especially during a night dive and two dives with thunder storm on the surface. A great dive light.

A great dive light!!!
What a great dive light! The size and weight are handy to always bring it with you (without issue), the output in power and beam are great, and the quality of the construction is/feels top notch! For the money (or any money) I could not be happier! I think I will be giving these as presents to my dive buddies! It included the charger, two batteries, spare O-rings, and had a nice lanyard installed on it. The packaging was also nice. I have three other dive lights by big name companies in the same lumen range as the Odepro WD12 (the three I own are rated at 1200 lumens, the WD12 is 1050 lumens), but the WD12 is the smallest form factor of the lot (see pictures for size/scale). The first thing I did was to charge one of the two provided batteries with the provided charger. The charger is nice, it is a single cell charger and the LED indicates red when charging and green when the cycle has completed. I works great, feels well made, very comparable to the other chargers that I have received with much more expensive dive lights. Once the first battery was fully charged, I did a head to head test by comparing the light against a wall against the 1200 lumen lights that I own (short test so I wouldn’t damage the lights by running them out of the water). It definitely puts out about the same amount of light as the other lights, and the beam is very nice (a decent spot/flood type beam so a center weighted beam that still gives you some flood (very nice for diving to not have a laser like flood)). The color temperature is also not as white/blue as most lights, which should help in lower visibility water. So, the rated output seems absolutely legit. After the quick brightness and beam test, I filled up a large container of cool water and did a test of the 2-hour run-time on the high setting. I did this test immediately after the battery charger signaled “green” and after playing around with it for a little while, but the light still shined at the 2-hour mark. The light output does begin to fall off a bit at the end of the run, which is WAY better than just shutting off (you know when your light is running out of power both by the handy indicator on the switch (which works, green, red, flashing red) and the output dimming a bit). So the rated run-time is also absolutely legit, even when I started with a slightly used battery. This thing will easily outlast your air on night dives, or days of “as needed” usage during the day. With the extra battery, you probably don’t need to charge very often. Conclusion: This little light packs a big light punch in a tiny package. I am very happy with it, and I cannot wait to dive with it! I will update this review after testing it in the field. ***Update 6/2020; I have used this on a bunch of dives, including a couple 100’ dives without issue. It is a great light. I will update if any issues arise, but I am very happy with this unit.

So far this seems to be a great flashlight for the price!
A friend sent me a link to this dive torch, recommending it to me. I decided to give it a try-I placed the order here on Amazon and smack during the holiday season it came promptly the next day-thank you Santa! I liked the product packaging as there is little waste with this packaging, no wasted plastic trays etc. Most of this is recyclable or I can use it around home. Anyhow for the flashlight itself, it’s a very well built sturdy flashlight. I will say when I went to open it to put the batteries in it took me some bit of time. I think a giant put it together at the factory because it was sealed so tight, I was second guessing how to open it. I also like that they have the battery direction printed on the outside for anyone who doesn’t know by sight which way the positive side of the battery goes. I don’t know if this is good or bad, if it will eventually wear off since it will be used with all my dives. The beam on this light is VERY bright on land and I just attached a quick video showing high and low beam on my bed blanket with no lights on near dusk. So it’s taken in a dimly lit room. I’m excited to get this out on my dives to give it a try. I do like that they send me two batteries with it so I have a backup. The only thing I can say would be better as I unpack this is that now you can get rechargeable batteries where the charging cord is plugged directly into the battery. This would eliminate one more thing I need to pack on a dive trip. As divers we are always trying to lessen the load on our dive trips so that would be great if that were to change. The wrist strap was attached already so aside from popping the battery in it was ready for use out of the box. Overall, at first sight I’m very happy with the amount of output on the light so far and of the quality of the product. It feels very well made. I’ll know more when I get out in the water with it and will post an update as soon as I can after diving with this light. Currently I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a dive light given what I have seen so far of this light. The price point is good, judging so far this is a great product for the cost.

Quality dive torch with a hard to beat price!
I purchased this light to use as a back-up light for a recent dive trip to Cozumel. It is lightweight and shines bright. I like the narrow beam which is good for pointing out critters and searching under crevices. It also has an indicator to let you know how much battery life is remaining. This wasn't a factor, as the battery easily held a charge which lasted the legnth of the dive with plenty to spare. If you are looking for an inexpensive, quality light for diving, this is a good option. It would be hard to beat the price for an underwater dive torch!

Great Light
great little light - plenty bright and great battery life for a single 18650 battery. Completed a 90min dive on high the whole time with no brightness drop and still in "green" indicator. Was looking for a push-button 18650 and this was a great find.

Beautiful light, but had leaking issues.
I really wanted to love this light, I really did. It performs excellently, and the extras that come with it (spare battery, dual charger, etc.) are a major bonus, but I guess I got the luck of the draw, and one of the two I purchased leaked water on the first dive in the sealed part of the head, most likely through the switch area. The battery compartment was fully dry, only water up in the lens area. The color and price are amazing for this light, but leaking just cannot be tolerated. I did not further investigate where the water intrusion was, as the manual said not to disassemble the front portion of the light, so I didn't. That is another no-go for me. A dive light needs to be able to be fully disassembled for maintenance and seal lubrication / replacement. If I cannot do basic maintenance on it, it is the wrong light for me. Other than this issue, I love the light. It would probably be a great light for general usage, but maybe not so much for SCUBA.

High Spec Diving Flashlight
Very happy with this flashlight. In the box, you get: 1. Odepro WD12 diving flashlight 2. Battery charger 3. 2 x 18650 rechargeable batteries 4. Warranty card 5. User manual 6. Lanyard 7. Spare O-rings The flashlight feels very robust, even though it is compact and sleek. It is designed to be used as a primary diving flashlight for recreational use, or as a backup for more "serious" divers. Waterproof up to 100 metres (waterproof rating of IPX-8), the WD12 utilises a single CREE XM-L2 (U4) which, combined with the included 18650 battery, produces a maximum output of 980 lumens. The maximum running time of this flashlight is five hours. There are three modes: Low - 360 lumens for five hours High - 980 lumens for two hours Strobe - 980 lumens for two hours That is an impressive amount of power for a flashlight that measures 5.27 inches long, 1.14 inches in diameter and 29mm in width. To activate the strobe feature, press the titanium switch down and hold it for two seconds on any light mode apart from "off". To turn off strobe, press the switch once. There is a translucent ring around the titanium alloy switch that lights up to tell you how much battery power is left. If the light is green, that means that the battery has more than 2.7 volts left. If it is red, that means there is less than 2.7 volts. The range of the beam is 170 metres with an intensity of 7,600cd. The aircraft-grade aluminium body with anti-scratch type-III hard anodising makes this flashlight corrosion-resistant (which is vital when diving in saltwater) and also drop-resistant up to 1.5 metres. There is a laser engraving on the side of the battery tube which tells you which way to insert that battery, which is good because if you are unsure about inserting the battery, it helps you. The WD12 is also protected against reverse polarity. The flashlight weighs 103 grams including the battery. If you want a high spec, high quality flashlight to accompany you on a dive, this is the one to choose. If you use this flashlight on land for prolonged periods of time, it heats up. However, underwater, this will not be a problem.
