I won't pretend the size doesn't feel a little awkward at first, but after getting used to it, it's not a bother -- other than that, though, it's been a hell of a reliable controller. It feels great, works great, SOUNDS great (if you like the mouse-clickey sound, which are from the bumpers) and I've actually gotten some use out of the turbo macro. Works with steam link, roblox, and I'd imagine everything that has controller support. The only real issue I've ran into was when the C-type connector bent and snapped off in an accident, but I contacted the support team and they were pretty much immediate in getting me a replacement order, which I am definitely looking forward to getting in the mail when that does. Great, quick customer service, great controller. Do you want a Technically Unnecessary but a Very Long-Time-Coming opinion on what I think about GameSir's quality vs Razer's?: Good *LORD* is it so much better than that fragile, overpriced, underwhelming, unreliable Razer garbage they pretend to think are mobile gaming controllers. They drift and break every three months, MAXIMUM, and Razer's garbage controllers often lead to trying to contact Razer's garbage customer support that make the process as confusing and frustrating as possible so you give up trying to get their garbage product replaced or getting their garbage "controllers" to do the absolute bare minimum. About time I got out of that abusive relationship of having to replace replace replace garbage with garbage from them, and switched to a different brand. Have I mentioned how much I absolutely hate Razer? Not enough. Get this brand instead.

I recently started playing games on an old Samsung Note 10 and was using a PS4 controller and considered a backbone. I figured there was cheaper options so I looked here on Amazon. Saw the X2s great reviews and thought I'd take a chance. Only 39 bucks. Man am I impressed. I've had it for over a couple of weeks. Too much fun! The triggers are a little too responsive, but other than that perfect. Joysticks have no dead zones. Buttons are clicky. The build quality is way better than I thought it would be for this price point. The pass through charging is awesome. Still fast charges. Controller never disconnects. I really can't find too many cons. Other than I can't quit playing games lol. I'm very pleased and already recommended to friends. Which a couple of them have already purchased and are now also fans.

i mostly got this to play fortnite on my phone when i'm out and about. while i can certainly do so, this controller is as plain and simple as you can get. if that's what you're looking for, congrats. if you're looking for more user-friendly interfacing, save up for a razer kishi or a backbone. people weren't lying when they said the app is atrocious. it's extremely primitive with its mapping, and it drains a lot of battery despite just being a background process. sometimes games like COD mobile don't even recognize the controller input. after a certain point, fortnite also could not detect the input of the controller, so i had to do a bit of finagling to get it to work again. one day it works, another day it doesn't. pass through charging is hit or miss. for me, it was just miss. i don't know if i have to change settings on my phone or what, but i just couldn't get it to work. the controls themselves are alright. the hall effect triggers are nice, but the contrast between the smooth magnetic triggers and the clicky microswitch bumpers is a little odd. the ergonomics of the controller are exactly what you'd expect. not uncomfortable, but not comfortable either. however, i haven't had any problems with the controls or ergonomics themselves, just gripes of personal preference. all in all, not a bad controller, but i feel like GameSir could have definitely added more functionality for the price. TL;DR - you get what you pay for. this controller is simple, perhaps even too simple. if you'd like a nice app and some good user interfacing, save up for a backbone or similar product

I love mine, was actually recommended this product from a coworker who said he loved his gamesir as it's the only one that actually works with foldable phones (pixel fold, galaxy fold.) I have a pixel fold & it honestly makes it feel like an old school nintendo ds & I love it. The only issue I had was that whenever I swipe up on the bar at the bottom to go to the homescreen, the device suddenly would stop working. A simple reboot of my phone typically fixed it - until one day it didn't work anymore. Turns out the little usbC that my phone would normally plug into receeded into the device like a little turtle head making it unusable. I would have given a 3 or 4 star review because of that alone, BUT I decided to reach out to company itself regarding the warranty. After providing proof of purchasing the gamesir & explaining what was wrong with the defect I got a replacement in the mail not too long afterwards. So for that amazing customer service, I gotta give them a 5 star review. I can't wait to bust out my new replacement & play some more games like an old school DS. Thank you gamesir!

For the price this things great. Right out of the box i stuck my phone in it and started playing metal storm (arial combat game) Didnt have to set anything up, this thing was good to go. Buttons are responsive with no lag. Switched over to an emulator and played some mario 64 and starfox. Ill try a FPS game next. So far im very pleased with my purchase! Edit: daughter removed phone from the controller and bent the connector. Asurion is not accepting my proof of purchase for my insurance claim. Hopefully we can get it squared away

The controller is okay but it disconnected multiple times I have to remove controller and reconnect thru type c connection the button layout is another problem I try to set as Xbox or even switch the button doesn't respond i used for emulation gaming I downloaded the app for the controller it doesn't help either

Mostly a fantastic review. I only have n complaint that I would love to see revised in a future model if you can figure out a way. It's a hassle to take off and put on, which wouldn't be an issue IF it didn't rapidly drain the battery while plugged in. What I would like is a way to turn the device off while it's plugged in so that it doesn't drain battery.

Tested with various phones. Hall effect sticks remain good after heavy use, it's recommended to use the caps included so they feel just right and are protected. The USB-C interface moves so it isn't under stress that might lead to failure. Perfect fit for retro games in emultors and natively supported by most Storefronts, the GameSir app adds compatibility to some games as well.

This does everything i need it to do for its price! Its light weight, compact, good quality buttons, decent ergonomics and extra thumb grips (if you prefer bigger thumb sticks). I like this one a lot more than my Gamesir G8 Plus (I know unpopular opinion).

Excellent gaming attachment. Works just by plugging it in with no set up required even without the app. The only adjustment I made in the app was to turn down the trigger sensitivity slightly but despite the low play store reviews I've had no issues using the app for these kinds of tweaks. Would absolutely recommend for either use with emulators or android ports of RDR, GTA etc. Also no batteries so should last a long time as the build quality feels solid.

Simplesmente sensacional, funcionou de forma perfeita no meu celular Galaxy A54, consegui rodar meus jogos no Dolphin Emulator, funcionou perfeitamente na serie de jogos como NFSU e ate mesmo o Most Wanted, e GTA Vice City e SanAndreas. Excelente, recomendo!

Non passo le ore a giocare, ma appunto per questo, attaccarlo al cellulare e farci una partitina di tanto in tanto era proprio quello che cercavo, magari steso sul letto o in poltrona. Senza dover comperare una costosa console portatile che non userei oppure stare scomodo con le dita sullo schermo del cellulare, sporcandolo e ostruendo la visuale. Molto soddisfatto e lo consiglio.
