I wouldn't consider it NEW
I purchased a NEW Metalgear Solid Legacy Collection and the case wasn't in any plastic and it was slightly melted. The inside of the case is broken. And there's a scuff on one of the CD's. The only reason I'm not returning is because I had planned on opening and playing it and the code still worked for the DLC. It was relatively the same price as other copys but slightly more... If you're considering buying one for Collection be weary...

Broken case on a brand new sealed copy.
So got the game brand new but the case was broken so completely ruined the point of buying it... Ended up buying another one and waiting to see its current condition when it comes in.
