The DP-UB9000P1K is Panasonic’s reference-class 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player, built for videophiles and home theater enthusiasts who want the best possible picture and sound from physical media. It supports all major HDR formats including HDR10+, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) — giving you the broadest compatibility with both current and future UHD disc releases. The player handles HDR10+ dynamic metadata, alongside HDR10 and Dolby Vision, ensuring that compatible discs deliver excellent contrast and brightness performance. Love it. This Panasonic is top tier.

This player is built like a tank, will play anything you throw at it, my only 2 critique is that it doesn't support mkv files and the player for the file player is lacking displaying any cover art or creating a play list

In my opinion, not a true region free player. I know the hack for these player but it doesn't work on all discs. My Panasonic ub820 works the same way for a much cheaper price.
