I am sooo glad that I found this shoulder wrap. I fell and had some trauma in my arm and shoulder and this ice pack hits all of the spots. It’s comfortable. I have thick arms and it isn’t tight at all. Very Flexible. Hold temperature and it feels so good. Sitting. Laying down. It stays in place. I’ve given this as a gift already too.

Mixed review for this one, but, overall I’m glad I bought it. It does fit well (I have thicker arms with batwings too). It does cool the shoulder nicely. There are two concerns/drawbacks. And one wish list. Concern 1 is if you put it in the fridge it doesnt get or stay cold enough. But in the freezer its so cold it will damage skin from exposure. Concern 2 is as many other reviews mention, there is not an easy way to put it on one-handed or by yourself. Most people using this have a bum shoulder, i physically cant reach across my body to tighten this. Now, my one wishlist iten is that it had a little bit more to start going up the neck a little. Cover more of the upper traps muscle. Most people with bum shoulders also have the pain going up into the back of their neck. As I said, i like it, I just have to be cognizant of the temperature and ensure i put a scrap of fabric under it if I do it at night.

I have 2 torn tendons in my ankle area. Following medical directions I wrapped the frozen ankle ice pack around my swollen ankle for 20 minute increments. I used a thin dish towel or sock between the ice pack and skin. It was perfectly comfortable. I was able to easily walk on hard floors and carpeting at home without shoes. It was easy to wrap around my swollen ankle and stayed in place due to the long elastic strap and Velcro closure. I was so pleased with the Fittest Pro Ankle Ice Pack that I placed a 2nd order for them so I’d be able to rotate the frozen wraps and apply as needed. My swollen ankle is about 12” around. Ice, elevate, and follow your doctor’s recommendations.

Recently, I had a shoulder procedure and am now having some pretty extreme post procedural pain, especially during PT and doing the home exercises. Got this thing tonight, and immediately put it on. The time it traveled in the back of a UPS truck provided sufficient chill. It instantly soothed my angry shoulder and upper arm. Now it's not a cure, but it sure feels nice after a PT session and the price can't be beat. I wish it came with a higher quality bag, but for $10, it is what it is. There is a mild odor, but it is barely noticeable and it's not offensive. I will buy again if needed.Technicals: I am 5'5", 150#, but have pretty large arms at 13". I bought XL and it fits perfectly.

We originally bought this for my son’s tonsillectomy, but he could never get the strap positioned comfortably enough for it to provide much relief. For that purpose, it just wasn’t a good fit for him, so I knocked off a couple of stars.That said, the included ice packs have been fantastic. You get four small gel packs that freeze quickly and are the perfect size for all kinds of aches and pains. I’ve used them for lower back pain by tucking them into the waistband of my pants, on my calves, Achilles, and arches by slipping them into a sock, and around my neck on hot days.My wife might not appreciate me sharing this, but she even tucked a couple into her bra during a scorching summer day and said it worked amazingly well!So while I can’t recommend it specifically for tonsil recovery based on our experience, the reusable ice packs alone have gotten a ton of use around our house. I’d give it 3 stars as a tonsillectomy recovery wrap, but 5 stars for the versatility of the ice packs themselves.

I love love this! Can't recommend enough. Very flexible and comfortable. Doesn't put pressure on my neck as some other shoulder sleeves have. Adjustable strap fits me great as a woman of average weight, too. I say this to be helpful since a man is pictured in the listing.

Gel started leaking within 1 month's usage. Useless.
