Bilt Hamber Touch-Less Sugar-Based Snow-Foam Pre-Wash (1 Litre)

I have tried various car cleaning products over the years, including a number of snow foams. Up until now, my go-to was Autoglym's Polar Blast, but I read good things about Touch Less, so thought I would give it a go... Simply unbelievable. This stuff gets your car immaculately clean with no need for a contact wash at all. (Full disclosure - my car has a ceramic glaze which helps to prevent dirt from sticking, but even with that, Polar Blast still required contact washing after snow foaming.) Spray it on; leave for five minutes or so, pressure-wash off - result, car is perfectly clean - I mean, perfectly. Running your finger over what were the dirtiest areas like the tailgate, it comes away without a trace of dirt. If your car is particularly mucky, this might not do the whole job, but for cars which are kept reasonably clean, this just removes the everyday build-up of road film and muck with no effort at all. Simply the best car cleaning product I have ever used.

Brilliant stuff if used with a decent snow foam cannon. You really can see the muck in the foam which runs off and it takes more off than anything else I’ve tried. If you use it before washing with bucket and mitt, there’s less likelihood of scratching your car. Even just using this on the odd occasion when I don’t have a lot of time for a full scrub, the car looks great. Used it on a caravan too and it really got rid of some old dirt which would have been a pain otherwise. Mixing instructions are a wee bit technical, but I have had good results with 100ml per 400 ml of water as well as 50 ml per 450 ml of water.

The snow foam doesn't seem to last long on the car and is mostly gone by the end of the 10 minute working time. However, I bought this after watching LOTS of reviews and it didn't disappoint. I sprayed off and OMG the result was so good. Better than after my previous hand wash. If you're not going to 'detail' your car and just want to wash it regularly because you do a lot of driving this stuff is what you need. It needs a lot of jetting to wash it all off but overall it's far quicker and way less effort than washing your car. I reckon about 50p a wash. With this size bottle - next purchase will be the 5L version. Usually I wash with a wax enhanced shampoo so may need to hand wash afterwards occasionally to get the wax back on - will have to wait and see. Update: 5 months on and awful weather, floods, gritted roads and a filthy car. In 5 months I have not laid a sponge on the car and every time it looks great after a wash with this stuff. I have not needed any wheel cleaning either - Bilt Hamber does it all in one go. My question at the start was whether you need to sponge wash occasionally - the answer is NO you don't. It was dirty enough to for the rear number plate to be 1/2 visible through dirt. Still just applied it dry and jetted off 10 minutes later and the car is sparkling. In terms of effort - it takes 2 minutes to get the jet wash out, 30 seconds to apply, 10 minutes to drink tea then 10 minutes of jetting then finally putting jet wash away. Total less than 15 minutes of effort plus 10 minutes waiting with tea. Update on costs - I think I will be getting about 22 washes out of the 1L bottle on a big car. So when I buy the 5L bottle it will be 110 washes for £36 so about 36p a wash. Can't praise this stuff enough.

Instruction don't make sense used 2%mix in a 1litre bottle and no foam, ended up using 50ml and got a foam spray. Still had to shampoo car after with a cloth.

This is a replacement as I used my previous bottle up. It creates a great and effective snow foam and I plan to go on using it, buying another when this is used up.

Good product, I recommend.

Simply the best for a touch less clean, I just spray it on leave it a few minutes and all the muck comes straight off. You can actually see it just lifting the dirt off the car. I’m also really lucky as they sent 2 bottles instead of one, gonna take me ages getting through these bottles as I use 2 caps of this with 2L of water and it does the job perfectly

I like this stuff a tiny amount in water in a spray bottle looks like the dirt melts off leave it for a few minutes (must not dry) and the powerhose basically does the rest. Is it completely touchless for a minging car, no but, will take the rough off to help stop scratching. Overall very decent, will also give your wax a hard time like all these products.
