I love this loreal lush raven eye shadow, when I am going for a more sultry smokey look, I put this color in my outer crease, sometimes I line my eyelash line with this, Oh and my favorite secret with this eye shadow is: I use it as a brow powder, YUP it's a all in one eye shadow, I have dark black hair, and I am sorry I am tired of these makeup companies only going to a dark brown or a grayish black eye brow powder. And I am so sick of all those people saying black brows don't look natural! Hello? what about us girls who HAVE Black Eyebrows! putting brown or grayish black eye brow powder over them is dumb and does not look natural, so all my girls who have black eye brows or hey you want black eyebrows, I use this eye shadow as a brow powder to fill in any sparse areas, and it looks great it's not shimmery and it lasts and holds us amazing.

There is no other eyeshadow like this sold in stores. I got my first one when I was 16 and started wearing it as eyeliner (like a smoky eye) and it works so well. I lost that one and promptly stole my mom's and this was 8 years ago just about. So, one of these eye pallets lasted me 8 years of heavy use for my eyes used as eyeliner (applied with fine angled brush). There's seriously nothing else like it out there. Eyeshadows are now being made inferior and too glittery or not dark enough. This has never made my sensitive eyes water or burn like some liners/shadows.Just buy it, you'll thank me. I'm pretty sure this pack will last me until death. I ordered it expecting just one and I got like 5+ so, I gifted one to my mom 😉

This is SUPER hard to find in store, so amazon is certainly going to be your best bet. Now, about the product itself:- VERY pigmented (it's a MAC dupe, for sure)- great for filling brows - err, but because it's so pigmented, maybe blend that bad boy on the back of your hand to get the excess off before going in... otherwise, crazy brows!- lovely dark matte color for smoking out the outer corner of your eyeshadow - blends very well- long lasting (full disclosure, I always use a shadow primer, so this may be more a testament to the efficacy of primer more than the shadow itself...)I have not ever tried to use it wet (for eyeliner), just because i'm worried that I'll damage such a versatile and GOOD product... no need to get all Icarus on it, you know?

Lovely light base on eyelids. Does not fight with colored shadow when applied.

Ok I ordered this product and it got to me fairly quickly. I like that. I hate the waiting lol. The product is exactly the way it looks in the picture and I was very pleased. The only thing I noticed about this particular shadow is it was not easy to blend which tended to be streaky even after labor of putting it on. Its dark, very dark so putting it on correctly is a must or it shows every mistake and you look like an idiot clown so blending should have been a top priority for L'Oreal with this one. But hey! What do I know I'm only a consumer I don't work there. It was true to color but due to the non blending and a bit streaky formula it only got three stars from me.

I was thinking this was matte but it’s actually shimmery.

I wear this shade in the corners of my eyes, as well as just under my brows for highlighting & definition. I use it on my eye lid as well, under another more shimmery shade to boost the lightness of the second color (kind of like how you paint primer on your walls first, so that the whites really pop without the color of the wall itself shining through). I couldn't find this shade in the stores after searching many places, so I came to Amazon - and, of course, they had it for me! Thanks!

Love this eyeshadow so much! It's the perfect blend of shimmer without being overly frosted. It's super-pigmented and glides on easily. It won't budge or flake either. Highly recommend to other customers.
