Men's Waimea H2 Toe Protecting

These sandals are genius. The overall sandal is great with its arch support and style, but I dig the toe guard in particular. It not only functions as a toe guard, but helps keep your big toe more stationary providing extra control with your steps. They make your sandals feel more like an extension of your feet rather than a sandal you're constantly trying to correct your foot's position in. That also means less chafing and blistering around the toes.

The toe protection is real. Quality footbed, my podiatrist approves. I've been wearing these for 20 years and I love them. I joke with people, they are closed-toed sandals. People regularly ask me about them, and many tell me how cool they look. I don't know why everybody doesn't have a pair of these.

The sandals fit comfortably with good arch support. The toe gaurd is is very unique and really works. Measure carefully as they run true to your size.

Interesting flips. No competition out there? Feels a little funny on, pressing on toes a bit, but no rubs or sores. Good soles, solid support, good arch. Feels good to be walking in a field with toe protection! I usually go for cheaper than these when buying on line (only pay Olukai prices if I'm sure they will work) but I'm glad I bought these. Heavy rotation with good durability.

LOVE these sandals. The toe protection is amazing! Everyone asks about these. Keen needs to bring this style back!!!! My first pair lasted a 2 week trip to Maui and hiking trails every day. Even in the runniong streams they stayed on and never came off. My most favoriate sandals EVER! Bar none! I'd pay 10x the amount to have another pair.

This is a well-made flip-flop. Well worthy of a Keen product. In fact, had it fit my foot profile better I would have given it a five-star rating. However, while my big toe was adequately covered, the next toe kept sliding out and ending up on top of the toe cover. Making it very uncomfortable, and unwearable. If that next toe was a little longer, or if the toe cover was a little bit larger, it would have been fine. For future models I would recommend a little more of the toe cover to remedy this. This is a really fine idea, but just not for my foot style.

Had a pair of these years ago and loved them. Eventually they fell apart after like 10 years of use. Hands down i feel they are the BEST flip flops ever!!!

I am the current owner of a pair of Keen sandles from 4 years ago and had to finally replace them. To my pleasant surprise, the Keen company has not lost any of it's quality in their products. I bought a pair of these Newport H2 sandals to replace my old pair and can say that I LOVE THEM. I also decided to buy another pair of Keen sandals that was more 'flip-flop' traditional for those light activities around the house and in the yard where I don't always feel like wearing the full-up H2 sandals. I was very surprised how comfortable the Waimea H2 sandals are compared to the regular Newport H2 sandals. They were a perfect fit right out of the box with no manufacturing defects, and I couldn't be happier. These sandals are just the right weight as well. Cheaper brands feel like you strapped on two bricks instead of sandals and are not nearly as comfortable or durable. I have ugly toes, so having the option to wear closed toe flip-flop type sandals is another plus for me. An additional advantage to having a closed toe flip-flop sandal is safety. Too many times I stubbed my toes with regular sandals, but not these Keen sandals ;-) Bottom line - if you are looking for an all-around best use flip-flop type sandal, look no further. Keen has you covered!
