Keela Kids Munro Jacket

This is an excellent quality brand and I was impressed with the features and waterproofing for the price, The sizing is pretty enormous, my son is 3 and very tall and he has a 1-2 size which is baggy. Crazy, but if you get the right size the quality is fantastic. Completely and utterly waterproof, even in all day pouring raon and the generous sizing means that there is space for layering fleeces underneath. It does have a double zip system which means a keela fleece can be zipped in to add warmth, but I didn't get that. It folds down very compactly and it breathable so no sweatiness. The hood is excellent, packs away when not in use and has a wire structure within it so it creates a little peak over the head without obscuring the vision. Zips, toggles and velcro are easy for wee ones to handle and the price was fractions of a more well known brand. I was told that scottish mountain rescue team and forestry use these jackets, so they must be good. I can;t be positive enough, and I'm going to buy one myself for skiing :)
