it's well made and sturdy. thought the little rascal would like it, but no. CATS!

Love these; Bought two for my two cats a year ago. I got black/grey. They look fantastic, which is important as I keep them ON my black leather couch (so they don’t scratch that by mistake) and they are very visible. They can be a bed OR cave and are simple to flip (just reach between front lips of bed and push up to create cave; To go back just push down on top of cave). My cats didn’t use the cave at all for 6-months; Then the one suddenly used it and is in it ALL the time (so nice you can change them based on third moods. They are easy to vacuum (made easier by the conversion feature. I haven’t needed to clean more than with vacuum yet.

This does not turn into a cave at all! All it is is a cat bed with a removable inner liner! It does not turn into a cave or a covered bed! I needed this for an outdoor cat so it can stay covered & warm. Someone abused this poor cat & ive been taking care of it since July. The cat cowers & hisses if you try to pet it. It was only bones with fur but not he’s filled out pretty well with feeding him a high quality pet food twice a day. I can’t bring him indoors as I already have house cats. I will give one of my house cats this bed as it is nice & soft. I really need a cave type bed for this poor cat that someone dumped off in our neighborhood.

I finally came upon this after hours and hours of searching multiple sites for a cat Hideaway / cat bed that was self warming AND big enough to fit my 14 lb maincoon mix cat! (Considering his entire rear end sticks out of the 12in by 12in box.) Made with about a half an inch of soft foam insulation all the way around, the inside floor ends up measuring 15in W x 15in L. He seems to curl up very comfortably inside at two and a half feet long. Seems to be pretty sturdy so far and very warm. And there is only one opening, perfect for my cat in this cold drafty 200 year old house in the Northwoods. Park ranger and Maine coon approved. Thank you for making this product!

I like everything about the cat house. The only thing is DISLIKE is that our feral cat will only rub up against the outside and stick his head in the door! He keeps telling us how cold it is at night and we keep showing him the cat house ( we've even placed his food bowl inside ) but he's not having it....yet. Since he is no longer afraid of our dog I expect him to saunter in one of these frigid nights! So much for feral....

My two kitties love this bed so much, we had to buy a second one because they fight over it all the time. The inside is nice and cozy, and stays warm while kitty is in there. The material on the inside is a very lush, velvety soft material. The only downside is that the material on the outside of the entrance gets absolutely covered in kitty fur. But, comes clean very easily with a lint roller. If you have a kitty, buy this bed for them.

Purr-fect for the outdoor cat I, and neighbors, have been caring for over 15 years. This is his ‘house’ during cold weather. Loves it and so do it. Very well designed and manufactured. Good value.
