I have tried many different braiding gels to get those sleek braids and precise parts. This stuff is the TRUTH I am telling you! It doesn't have a strong smell it blends in the hair well and is not sticky on fingers or leave residue like other gels. I have used this for twists and braids and it can even be used as an edge control if you didn't get Aunt Jackie's matching edge control from the same line. This stuff holds and lasts for a long time, even as the hair is growing there is no buildup or white gunk or flaking just smooth hold and lasting styles. This braiding gel helps seal ends and moisturize at the same time. This is like an all-in-one for braids and twists. I have only used this on natural hair but I am sure the same goes for protective styles that use weave/ braiding hair. With the biotin and honey within the product, your hair will grow and be moisturized while doing so. For what is within this product and the quality of the gel the price is worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

I really like this gel! It is lightweight and does what it says. It doesn't irritate my scalp. It doesn't have an overwhelming fragrance. I like the hold and it doesn't cause flakes. Easy to use. This is a great hair brand for coily hair.

This is a must have. It doesn't have that white build up that you see with other products. I love how it helps define my curls/waves. Doesn't make my scalp itch and it smells okay. It last all day as long as you wrap your hair for a bit to set your style. Also conditions the hair so yep, I recommend it.

After trying many braiding/twisting gels, I decided to try this one. I am surprised, the consistency of the product is that of thick gel. I was EXPECTING clumping and dust knots where the gel was laid on a little thick, this actually DRIED SOFT. There were no clumps, no grease, and my son’s hair wasn’t weighed down. It definitely helped when determining if his parts were straight. My initial goal was to get a product that would keep his twists together longer, I will update with a follow up phot of his hair after a week. The photos attached so far are 2 nights after his hair was done and I checked the softness - note he refuses a bonnet, and tosses and turns a lot in his sleep.

This hair gel works great for all curly hair types because it’s very malleable so it’s easy to apply. Its fragrance is pleasantly light and not sweet or bitter. It imparts a nice amount of shine.

Me encanta, funciona perfecto en trenzas, lo apliqué de la raíz a la punta (con extensiones de kanekalon) y aunque pasen los días no forma residuos, tampoco es demasiado firme por lo que da un aspecto natural y flexible. Lo volvería a comprar! Es el mejor que he usado y a muy buen precio, trae mucho producto.

This product was good. The scent is not overwhelmingly strong. I haven’t experienced any flaky residue buildup on my scalp. One doesn’t need to use a lot of product. A little goes a long way. Would highly recommend
