It just works without a hitch.
I honestly can't say there is any cons with this product at all when I purchased it, the price was lower but it has not failed at all. Basically I use it for netinst image for a lightweight Linux OS, and also works flawlessly as a bios flash storage, and I backup my router config too. other than that it won't be of much use for me. comes formatted FAT 32 and immediately is recognized on every computer with a USB 1, 2, 3 port and maybe even could get it to work in a hub that is USB C with USB 1, 2, 3.
