MSKJ 200w 220V-110V Step Up Down Voltage Transformers Converter UK to US US to UK Power AC Black

I bought this to run an FM tuner that draws 18 watts @110-120v, 60hz. Since I have the 200 watt transformer, this is hardly overtaxing the device! It has been on for 24 hours now. It runs cool and is silent. I measured the output voltage at 115 volts, which is perfectly acceptable. It is solidly built and unlike the more powerful versions it only weighs 1.7kg, but it is probably too heavy and bulky to use as a travel converter. It comes with a UK plug and there is also a 220v outlet next to the 110v outlet on the front. I have taped over the 220v outlet in order to prevent accidentally plugging in a 110v device. I cannot fault this transformer.

Worked perfectly

This transformer is smaller and lighter than I expected which is a good thing, it looks well made and this now means I can get rid of the big yellow commercial brick I’ve been using.
