Have only been using once per day for a week. Lovely, natural aroma that fades quickly. It's not greasy nor does it dry out my hair. No new growth yet but there does seem to be slightly less fallout. My hair IS softer and seems a tad stronger. My hair is light grey with natural white streaks. I notice no color from the spray on my hair. I find the ingredients excellent especially since they are organic. I find the price quite reasonable. I will come back and update. UPDATE: I have no earthly clue about what the people who are complaining about the aroma expect or are accustomed to experiencing. This product has a lovely, natural scent. After more consistent use my hair is noticeably thicker. There is much less in my comb and tub drain. It makes my hair soft and moisturized. It is not greasy.

I have been using a couple times a week for a couple months. I have noticed a huge difference in my thin fine hair. It doesn’t make my hair greasy. My hair has felt so healthy.

I know that it says black rice, but I was not prepared for the product to be so dark. The last ingredient listed on the packaging is "caramel", which I assume is caramel color. I have only used it as a pre-shampoo treatment (about an hour before washing my hair) because I don't want to risk staining my pillow. Also, the smell is pretty strong. I love that they didn't add any masking fragrance, but I don't love the smell. It's also oilier than I was expecting. That said, I do think it makes my hair look nice. I haven't used it enough to know if it helps with hair growth. I'll be using it as a pre-shampoo treatment but probably won't repurchase.

I have used this serum for over 2 months and it has transformed my hair by stopping breakage, increased softness and generally promoted healthy new growth. I was pleasantly surprised by the results and at such an affordable price. I had hair loss in the crown and it left me covering up my hair with scarves all the time. Thank you very much for the great work that went into the production of this serum. I will continue to use and recommend it to others. Kudos!!!

As of July 2024, this review stands strong, love this product, I should have presented this review earlier, I was just lazy, I've been using, Organic Black Rice Water, from this company for a few months now, & I love this product, my hair has grown within a couple of weeks of using this product, the first thing I noticed was, my hair became softer with more body, it kept me feeling my hair over & over while in bed, I was thinking man, I love how this makes my hair feel, but no lie folks this product has made my hair fuller & longer in just a short amount of time, I couldn't say how long it would be for your hair, but I'm not wasting my time here, this stuff works, & deserves all the great reviews it has garnered, I have been a little worried that as soon as I found this product, I would go to order again, & amazon won't have it, I've used rice water on my hair for a long time, but this rice water by ( GIFBEA ) is the best for me, I don't waste time is money, take my advice you won't regret it.

I really do like the product. It does seem to make my hair a little Fuller however following 2 months of use. No new hair growth which wasn't really an expectation. I did have to take stars off because the product really smells terrible. It also has a black to gray color and while it doesn't stain your skin, I would imagine can deposit in your hair if you have light colored hair.

7/24/24: This rice spray passed my expectations in terms of effectiveness. I use it 2-3x a day, which I don't mind because it's quick to give my scalp and ends a few spritzes in each application. I notice my hair looks thicker a week in, and the new growth feels soft. Speaking of new growth, I noticed quite a bit 3 days after using. Someone mentioned the black color of the spray would stain pillowcases. That's not the case. Not only does this product spray clear, but if you spray without trying to saturate your head, it should be air-dried in about 10 minutes. So applying before bed shouldn't be an issue. Love, love, love this product! When the second bottle comes, I'm going to try and focus more on my ends, and I will update as needed. However, my rating will probably stay the same based off the results I've seen so far.

It came with the sprayer part of the cap detached. After leaning over my bed searching for it(with broken back and ankle post surgery). When I removed the cap the sprayer part popped up and fell to the floor. Black cap on black floor not easy to find. When I finally found it and tried to put the spray part would not attach and kept popping off. When I held it in place and tried to spray it it didn’t spray just pooled under the cap dripping everywhere. Wouldn’t know about the product since I never got to really try it. Tried to unscrew the main cap to see if I could put a little in my hands and couldn’t get that off.
