Gave me acute choline poisoning.
This was RECOMENDED, when searching for purification tablets to put into a water rower. it took an hour, but my room was filled with TOXIC FUMES, my nose was burning, my eyes were watering, It was hard to breath, I had to vent my room with a fan with the windows open. even after I left windows and fan running for three days straight, my eye still water, and my nose drains like crazy.

Beware of 397mg tub short shelf life and quick expiration date
I bought one 397mg tub and a 100 pack of the 49mg tabs at the same time. The 100 pack I will keep as it won't expire until March 2028 (4 years from today). The 397 tub I am returning because it expires April 2026 - 1 year. Per the manufacturer site: Aquatabs strip packed tablets have a 2- 5-year shelf life. Aquatabs tub packed tablets have a shelf life of 2 – 3 years. The 100 pack is fine for emergency preparation with 20% life gone, but 4 years to go. The tub is less than 1/3 it's life and so short, it's likely just going to expire - not acceptable for emergency preparation. Considering these are sealed, that's a bummer. It's essentially chlorine, but not going to risk it for what it's purpose is for.

Bottle instructions are EXTREMELY imprecise!! To the point of being dangerous!
The 397 mg tablets bottle do not have instructions directly on the bottle specific for quantity of water treated per tablet. The attached tear-off-the-bottle instructions states that 1 tablet provide 2.6 Mg/L available chlorine treating 15 Liters of water, and 6.5Mg/L available chlorine treating only 5.8 Liters of water. There are not two different size tablets in the bottle. Why would a lower available quantity of chlorine treat a greater quantity of water. The picture below that I have provided is a scan of the folded attachment paper, though confusing at best, the information needs to be directly on the bottle. something as simple as "One 397 mg tablet from this bottle is recommended for 15 Liters (4 Gallons) of contaminated water."

Usage chart on bottle should be scrapped.
The usage chart attached to bottle is unsatisfactory. One of the columns is “Available Chlorine Mg/L”. This is a value nowhere explained nor listed within the directions or ingredient label. Going online you can see their instruction video, but it makes no reference to this - merely clear or cloudy water. In a pinch, when I need these, unlikely I’ll be web browsing. It’s absurd to include a decision point when the user has zero way of determining the correct category to use. Unsatisfactory for “survival gear”.

Not a good option for disaster preparation bags!!!
The fact that these arrived March 2025 and have a printed expiration date of November 2026 makes them not worth it. They should include in the information that these only have a one year or less shelf life.
