lovely fairytale!!
Tim Burton story is such as classic, I’ve lost track of how many times I have watched it!! Now with this version of the story, I am even more so. The love between sally and jack, the confidence she gains, the look on naughty and nice, is absolutely wonderful. Although some parts did seem rushed, all in all it was an amazing book!!

Look forward to reading
It seems like my book arrived with a similar issue was another reviewer. I think there might have been a problem with the application of the jacket coating to give it that soft feel. Aside from this, I look forward to reading this and adding it to my collection <3

Great read for ALL ages!
Sally is the MC in this retelling. Falls down the Christmas tree and finds Christmas instead of Jack. Sally and Jack must rescue the toys of Christmas World and stop the evil elf from taking over and hurting the toys and citizens of Christmas Town. This was my first twisted/wicked tale from the series so I wasn't expecting much, but this was really cute. It was tied nice in all together. The beginner recap WILL bore you a bit if you are a long time fan.If you're a deep or critical thinking type of reader this book mirrors McCarthyism to scares others into "falling in line" to establish a Utopian type society while teaching the lesson it's ok to be different and there is different types of beauty.I would read this before "Long Live the Pumpkin Queen" (the book about where Sally came from). It's a great combination. This book was a SUPER quick read. I got it done in an hour.Physical copies: Each page is decorated/printed to look like a used haunted book with decent sized font

Twisted tale Disney
I absolutely recommend this book series they are based off of Disney animated classics. This one is about Sally from nightmare before Christmas. It's a stand alone book series meaning they can read in any order it won't mess up you enjoyment of the others and none of the books tie into each other
