Less Mint, more clean
I was unsure about this product at first. Toothpaste has a definite "baking soda" taste and feel to it. Having said that, I don't mind it. Thought I would be "missing" the minty flavor which I don't. Another plus for me, I don't get that strange (gross) film that seems to form after brushing with some of the other major brands. That is a HUGE plus.

Not harmful to your teeth
I have a hard time with a lot of toothpastes because I don't like the little balls in them, I don't like intense flavor, and I have a hard time trusting that the toothpastes aren't going to affect my teeth negatively. Arm and Hammer does a great job with a lot of their toothpastes being baking soda and peroxide, the old school way. The flavor isn't overpowering, and it doesn't have any of those little beads in them.

Better than the Rest
Most people don't know that the term 'whitening' is an unregulated and general marketing word that may be used by any toothpaste manufacturer whether or not their product whitens teeth. With PeroxiCare you actually get the benefit of hydrogen peroxide which kills nasty bacteria and keeps your smile sparkling. If you want that dentist-like clean feeling, Arm and Hammer PeroxiCare is where it's at. This toothpaste cleans better than all the other toothpastes I've tried from brands like Crest, Colgate, and Rembrandt. By combining the power of baking soda with hydrogen peroxide, you'll enjoy a great surface clean with genuine whitening power.

I started using this toothpaste after I got cancer and the chemo damaged the outer layer of my teeth. Before I found this product, I lost 2 teeth to chemo but once I got started on this, I have had no problems. You also need to use a high quality toothbrush tho, that gets in between the teeth and removes tartar. This toothpaste has no fluoride and fluoride damages teeth and assists in the growth of cancer. I am knowledgeable on fluoride and have done a lot of research on it. I spend a lot of time researching things that help to fight cancer.
