What is the width and length of this product?

Its 6" wide - don't remember the length but google DuPont Flexwrap and you will find it. The is a great product and is the ONLY way to prevent moisture infiltration at the bottom sill of windows.

Will this still work if I add 1" of ridgid foam on top of 1/2" sheathing?

The trick will be to get it to stick to the foam. You could wrap to the sheathing first. Then add the foam and add another layer of the flex wrap. You might want to set the foam back 1" from the window and then bend the wrap to contact the first layer of wrap and then fold it over the foam. You can overlap the wrap to get it wide enough, just remember to watch the water flow and place the lower wrap under the outer layer so the water will not try to run inside. Hope this helps

How well does this work for sound dampening? Any ideas anyone?

Will not work for sound dreading, sound deading mats are a total different material

can i use this under and over the nailing flange on a new construction window?

Yes, I guess you could (the Flex wrap is for creating window seals) but Dupont Flash Tape would be better.

Great product

Used it on 2 sets of doors and 2 windows. This sticks without issue. I left it exposed to the weather for 3 months before the windows and doors were installed. Enron with walking over the door areas, there was no damage and no sign of slippage. One warning, once this sticks, it stays stuck. Make sure you are in the right place before you stick it down. Super product and I will use it on all new projects.

Easy install, great stick

Don't let it touch itself after pulling off the paper, once you roll it on it's permanent. Not cheap, but worth it.

Best Product on the market.

DuPont has made a great product here. I have used this for creating a sill pan on 13 windows I installed and it worked great. Flex’s around the corners and very sticky. Need to make sure you do not let the adhesive sides touch as you will. It be able to pull it apart but it does have splits backing to remove to help with that issue. I would use it again. It is pricy but work the investment.

This is the best option for flashing bottom of windows but is also amazing for any flashing yo need done. Around pipes, on roofs, windows, and doors

I have used this for taping new windows with nail fins for new construction during window install, it is the best product to prevent wind draft through and around the 1x4 trims.
