Very usefull and looks durable

Cute little mat for your appliances in the kitchen! We have light gray counters which seems to show oil stains very easily, so mats like this is a must. Make sure you're measuring your space and where you will use it because I thought it would be bigger (that's my fault for my measuring!). But with this size it's perfect for our toaster and it will keep our granite counter grease-free. It sticks well to our counter and stays flat.I do wish it was more clear, more transparent. It's more of a milky transparency than expected.

The mat is as pictured and does allow the surface underneath to show through. However, the size given in the description is not quite accurate. The mat I received is 10 1/8" x 13 7/8" - I took one star off for that. It cleans up nicely and seems durable. Bonus: it works like an etch a sketch on the counter top if you want to use it to let your kids practice their letters or draw on it using their finger, as I did in the photo. Just lift the mat to erase. As you press down on it, it sticks to the surface more closely, letting the surface show through better.

This mat performs as described. It is waterproof and non-slip. I was intending to use it under my coffee machine, but I needed to be able to slide it around a bit which is not possible with this mat. If you are looking for a mat that stays in place, this is it.

This silicone mat is much thinner and smaller than I thought it would be. I should have looked at the measurements prior to ordering. I had hoped to use this to provide a protective barrier for hot pans on my solid surface counter tops. I'm not sure if this will work. However, it is at least a basic protective layer. It is also translucent and the surface below will show through.
