Die unzähligen hochwertigen Fotos, Infokästen und Interviews machen es zu einem visuellen Erlebnis und wahren Schatz auf dem Coffee-Table. Besonders positiv ist die akribische Recherche, die selbst eingefleischten Sneakerheads noch neue Aha-Momente beschert. Ich stoße bei jeder Lektüre auf spannende Details und vergessene Modelle. Das Buch wird seinem Ruf als „Bibel der Sneaker-Kultur“ wirklich gerecht. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Das Hardcover ist ziemlich groß und schwer – eher etwas fürs Regal oder den Wohnzimmertisch als für die gemütliche Lektüre auf der Couch. Aber genau das macht es auch zu einem echten Sammlerstück.
