Does what it needs to do, deter theft. Had to buy this to replace the one I had but lost the keys to. But just know, it's only to deter theft, I had the old one, which is the exact same product, off in a minute with a grinder. So it won't actually stop theft, it just hopefully makes the thief's not want to steal your trailer because it would be a little more work than pulling up and hooking up to a trailer without a lock

Seems like a decent lock for the money. They're very cheaply made. A good hit or two with a big hammer would probably fall off. I still use latch locks along with them. If I had expensive trailers or trailers with equipment I wouldn't purchase these. Spend the big money for that. This is just to make it a little harder for a thief to get your goods.

I love the lock. Great price and easy to use. I only wish it had come with one more key. I have not been able to find anyone to make me another copy.

This thing is CHEAP! The key broke off in the lock the first time we ever used it, then we had to take an axe to the lock to get it off our trailer (which it came off WAY to easily with just a few hits to it). We basically bought it just to throw it away.

I've had this lock in use for a couple months. I came out to the trailer to find the ball was completely separated from the rest of the unit. If anyone had come to take the trailer, there would have been nothing stopping them. 😕

Cheap construction but it’s a cheap lock so....1 or 2 good strikes with a hammer would be enough to break it, but with a coupler lock it should still slow a thief down.

I like it because it's so easy to use & WELL worth the money, puts your mind at is to know your trailer is locked.

Very cheap made lock (yellow part) can be smacked with a hammer and broken. It (the chrome part)did not fit my 2 5/16 tongue on my trailer, it was not wide enough. The "ball" portion would fit but made of aluminum. I would not recommend this for your prized possession. If you just looking for a deterrent this is it but for true security NO.PE
