I bought one of these USB COB LED strips to add some lighting to a project and immediately realized I should have ordered more. The light output is impressive for something powered by a simple USB port. It’s bright, clean, even lighting with none of the dotted “hot spots” you get from a lot of cheap LED strips. The daylight white color is crisp without looking harsh, and it works great for shelves, displays, workspaces, and accent lighting. Installation was simple, it’s flexible enough to go where you need it, and it instantly made my project look far more professional than my skill level deserves. In fact, I was so happy with it that I already placed a second order before I even finished installing the first one. If you’re on the fence, save yourself the trouble and order two the first time. Apparently that’s what I should have done. Highly recommended.

Nice and bright. Works great with 3xAA 4.5V battery pack putting out 4.5V. Not sure how long it will last but if necessary I can upgrade to C batteries. Also works with a usb charger plug. No switch so good if you want it to turn on and off via remote or smart plug etc. If you buy these to plug into a TV or other device with usb port - not all ports have enough power to power devices - only to slow charge them or use as a media storage. My TV has 2 usb ports and only 1 is marked as putting out 5V. The other one only puts out half the amount, not enough to power anything. Works great with RF remote I purchased separately to turn on/off, dimming, and also some special effects modes. I think it was like $7 for a 2-pak of them. This strip will also light up submerged in water even though it looks like it has bare copper pads but they are plastic coated. I am using on my RC vehicles including underwater lighting on RC boat. Great for DIY projects. I will probably be needing more of these...

I love inexpensive LED strips because they're convenient when you have a small space that doesn't warrant purchasing a $20+ system with dimmer switch and transformer. I used a spare USB 2.0 outlet as well as a USB 2 extension to create a cold white ambient effect for part of the DIY modernization that's in progress for this bathroom. The adhesive works fine, but it tears diagonally around midway so just be cognizant of that. Otherwise: Bright, proper color, works with any generic USB 2.0 outlet, and the continuous light bar look continues throughout the entirety of the illuminated area and you can't see the individual LED spots. That latter concern is not an uncommon phenomenon with inexpensive LED strips. The 3-ft segment was actually a little bit too much for my bathroom ambient light objective, so I actually soldered the scrap piece to another spare USB cable I had somewhere in my house and used (no surprise) a spare USB 2.0 AC outlet - I gave this little table outside in my backyard (in front of the door, to the left of the photo) a cold white ambient glow. So, I was able to add ambient cold white lighting to two things in my house with the purchase of one inexpensive cable!

I haven't been this excited about a product since buying a label printer to create shipping labels instead of using my printer for making labels. The convenience of the label printer has not worn off and I don't think the joy of finding the perfect light strip to attach under my computer stand to illuminate my external keyboard will wear off either. This little six dollar investment is all that I need to add light over my keyboard so I can see the keys I'm typing without turning on a lamp. I bought the bright white strip which is similar to daylight. It was shipped in a small aluminum foil packet and the light strip was wrapped around a thin spool. It's one meter long and I didn't want to cut it and make it shorter so I coiled and attached the entire strip under the computer shelf for three rows of LED lights. The strip produces the perfect amount of light for my keyboard and my work area. My mind is now racing as to the places I could use the illumination and my sewing machine comes to mind. I also have an antique cupboard that is dark stained that has an electrical outlet and I've often wished there was light inside the cabinet. There will be very soon since the discovery of this light strip.

I've been searching for some LED strips to light up 3d printed lightboxes. These are the best I've been able to find at a reasonable cost. They're bright and easy to use, but the adhesive doesn't stick very well unless you're in the perfect condition, even then it tends to peel off at times. I've been needing to use super strong glue on the adhesive to get them to stay, and this is messy and time-consuming. This may be something that is an individual need, but I would give them a better rating if they had an option for a 90 degree angle at the wire-light meeting spot. I already need to put a harsh bend on these at that joint which makes me hesitant because I don't want to break the connection but I wish they would make a 90 bend version.

strange light it fits well with my 3D project however the whole plug and light is strange but decent for the price

I purchased this little light strip for a 3d printed lithopane in a 3d printed frame. It was perfect for a 4.5 x 4.5 square lithopane.

I bought this to add lighting to my 3D printer enclosure. It works amazingly well, and lights up the enclosure so that I can see my prints without issue!

This light strip is exactly what I needed. It’s bright, easy to set up, and the light is nice and clear without being harsh. I like that it’s flexible enough to fit wherever I want, and the adhesive holds well. The color is crisp and clear, exactly what I wanted. So far, it seems really durable too - I’ve moved it around a few times, and it’s held up perfectly. It’s simple, reliable, and adds a nice touch of light to my space. Definitely worth getting!

Ich habe den Aclorol COB LED Streifen in Kaltweiß (1 m, 5 V USB) für die Beleuchtung eines Regals/Arbeitsbereichs gekauft und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Positiv: Durchgehendes, gleichmäßiges Licht ohne sichtbare LED-Punkte – genau das, was ich gesucht habe. Angenehm helles Kaltweiß, ideal für Arbeitsflächen, Schreibtisch oder indirekte Beleuchtung. Einfache Stromversorgung über USB, z. B. am Netzteil, Laptop oder Powerbank. Flexibel und leicht anzubringen, Klebestreifen hält gut auf glatten Oberflächen. Wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet. Neutral: Mit 1 m Länge eher für kleinere Projekte geeignet – für größere Flächen braucht man mehrere Streifen. Kein integrierter Dimmer. Fazit: Ein sehr guter COB-LED-Streifen mit gleichmäßigem Lichtbild und einfacher Handhabung. Ideal für alle, die eine saubere, punktfreie Beleuchtung suchen. Preis-Leistung stimmt!
