I'm very please with this filter. The results are interesting. I have had no problems fitting it or removing it from my Canon lens. I'm looking forward to experimenting a bit more. I liked the fact that I could use a low f stop and still get the starburstUnfortunately the filter case arrived broken - there was no damage to the filter. I emailed them and a replacement case is on its way. Excellent customer service.

Ordered this for my nephew who likes taking pictures of performance cars in showrooms. He asked how to get a "sparkly" effect and this was the answer. The filter arrived in good packaging which was easy to access. The plastic holder is handy as it provides handy portable storage. The filter itself is good - no manufacturing issues evident. The cross-hatching to get the star effect on pinpoint light sources works well. The filter is also quite thin and so threading it onto your daylight filter or just lens can be tricky - it is important to line up the threads carefully. No issues reported so far after more than two month's use.

Absolutely love this effect when shooting cars and motorsports, really offers something unique to a photo.

I bought this under the impression that it was going to be entirely gimmicky, and yet was pleasantly surprised.K&F products have always been fairly hit or miss for me, but this filter creates a very interesting effect that, when combined with bright lights of any kind (i.e. a concert, or reflections on water ripples), can give an almost retro look to your photos.The biggest issue I found was the difficulty when getting precisely four points on the stars. Since the number of points is controlled by rotating the front, there’s no tactile feedback for being at a precisely four-pronged star. This can sometimes lead to strange effects where the prongs of the star look almost serrated.Despite this, the lens attaches firmly, feeling secure and protective, and provides an interesting effect to photos that’s somewhat tedious to recreate in post.For points of improvement:- tactile feedback on the rotating ring;- the ability to attach a lens cap atop it.

Really good purchase, would recommend if your looking for a star burst filter
