Q: Does this light automatically turn off after a certain time period? If you accidentally forget to turn it off, will it turn off on it's own?

No it doesn't turn off on its own.

Q: could I stick this on the top of a deep desk drawer to see in it or is it too big? does it stick or have to be screwed in?

These lights have two sticky pads that can be uncovered to adhere them to a surface. They stick well and are very secure. Additionally they have a place where they can be screwed in so they can be mounted both ways.

Q: Are the 4 lights 200 lumens each, or 50 each for a total of 200?

Can't say definitively, but I think it's 200 lumens each. I have a set of closet lights that purport to be 50 lumens each and these are a LOT brighter than those.

Q: when you remove the batteries to put in new ones will it stick again?

The adhesive is a velcro pair, so once you stick up the backs of each velcro piece to the light and wall, removing it is just pulling the velcro apart.
