Left the drivers window cracked in a rain storm and it killed the OEM. Looked at the dealer, had a heart attack on price and started looking elsewhere. Glad I found this one, the quality seems better than average of part of this nature, the chrome tipping around the buttons was unexpected but looks good. So far its working exactly as expected, how long it will last remains to be seen but for a fraction of what a OEM one costs I could buy 6 more and still be ahead of the game.

Considering the cost alone, this is a perfect factory alternative. Easy to install and inexpensive.

Easy to install, works like OEM. But once I was driving at night, I noticed the drivers button doesnt light up. Not a huge deal, just kept it from getting 5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this window switch. Looked and felt just like the OEM switch I replaced. Considering the $15 price tag vs. a dealer price of $65, it's a win all the way around. It was fairly simple to install, but how easy or difficult it is to replace this part has no bearing on my review since this supplier has no control over VW and how they make their cars. People who give a poor rating because they don't know how to install it, or because they buy the wrong part for their car just don't make sense to me. This part fit perfectly into my Tiguan door panel and the electrical attached perfectly into the new switch. Everything works and looks just like new.

As we all know VW is terrible for their electronic buttons and switches. I have had so many fail over the years and I have always replaced with $$$$$ OE products that typically fail, again. I bought this for my 2013 Passat. the installation was easy, the fit was great, and the cost was about 75% less than OE from the dealer. I installed it about 2 months ago and it still feels like it's new unlike some of the OE products which start sticking within the week. Overall great Aftermarket part that works.

Button operation feels muddy compared to the OEM switches which feel much more of a positive feedback to each position. Fitment is ok but caused the rear switches to get stuck in the down position due to the switch placement is slightly different from the front switches. This interference requires you to manually pull them back to the rest position. Rear switch face rubs on the mount which after three or four operations has left a definitive line across the lit surface. Suspect this will be an obvious and annoying light leak in a week or so. Crome accents look very cheap compared to the OEM switches. As much as I wanted these to work, it’s a no go from me.

The fit and finish of this is identical to OEM. Works as described, auto up/down perfectly. This beats spending $100 more than OEM 10/10 times. Hoping this one lasts just as long if not longer than the OEM. The only issue I had was the "Auto close" for the back windows, I have to push the button a little harder but that's not really an issue to me.
