What you get here is an entire, hassle-free, wireless experience for HDMI. My main issue with retro gaming how limiting cable sizes are on playing on large TVs. The longer the cable, the more the signal degrades. With this system, I am comfortablely able to take even composite devices (using an adapter) and beam them over to the TV across the room with no latency! Seriously, it is as if plugging my console directly into the TV. I tested it on movies and was pleased to see that there was no chopping, even at about 60 feet away from my device! This unit apparently goes to 100ft, but I have not had the chance to try it at such a distance as realistically, the TV will be too small to really use. I also tested it with a popular Android box, and was pleased to see how easily I can transmit movie content without the chopping I readily experience from Mirracast. The unit is powered over USB and comes with all of the necessary cables for running it out of the box. I did, however, not receive a charger. Luckily, I had a million of them stashed in random drawers and was able to break out and set up this unit within minutes of receiving it! Seriously, this this has endless uses.

It gets hot, but not hot enough to cause an issue. It connects and gets going pretty easily. I've never had to do more than push the button to get it to connect. Which I rarely had to do anyway. A+ Plug and play.

This started off as a fantastic purchase - I use it to stay mobile in my classroom as I'm teaching and need my laptop in arm's reach. This was great for that purpose for about two months and now it refuses to connect. I have tried all of the troubleshooting available and now I'm outside of the return window. Now I have to connect via HDMI and can no longer run wireless which means I now have to run across the room anytime I need to change the screen/advance a slide.

This item works good. I do get some disconnects, but that may be the stream.

This didn’t work for my unique tv and computer combo but customer service was phenomenal all the way through!!! Helped me with trouble shooting and was very responsive.

Worked well for about a year, and then stopped connecting. I was unable to fix the problem. For the first year, I was pretty happy with how the device handled video. There was some startup latency, but it wasn't too bad. Of course my use case was simple, with the transmitter and receiver about 20 feet apart in the same room.

I replaced my existing transmitters that had a really bad interference problem. This wireless transmitter has been great and very helpful in allowing me to move to a different area of my room. Setup is quick and straightforward, connect phone to my TV screen easily. The image quality is excellent, and the signal is stable. Overall quite satisfied with it.
