Fossil Rachel Tote Bag

Absolutely love this tote! The Fossil Rachel Tote is not only gorgeous but incredibly practical. It fits everything I need—laptop, wallet, planner, makeup pouch—without feeling bulky. The quality of the leather is top-notch and the stitching is flawless. Perfect for both work and travel. Highly recommend!

12/26/23 This is an update to my previous review below. This bag was advertised as 100% cowhide leather. While the body of the bag is intact and real leather, the handles are not!! Now I have spent almost $150 in a bag whose handles are peeling off (look at the picture). What a scam!!!! Original review: Exactly as advertised. I like that I am a big woman and the handles are long enough as well as the size of the purse. It fits everything I need and has a lot of extra space. I specifically loved the 2 hidden pockets at the front and back of it. They have a magnetic closure and are perfect for your cellphone and keys respectively. The purse also looks well made and not cheap at all.

This is an absolutely perfect tote! I went for the retro looking taupe/ tan patterned one and oh boy I love it! The bag is very light, roomy enough to hold my 16 inch MacBook Pro with plenty of room left for other things like a water bottle, snacks, wallet, etc. I LOVE the fact that it has two outside pockets for quick and easy access, both with magnets! There is also a zipped pocket inside, and the bag is fully lined. I was (again) impressed by Fossil's attention to detail also when it comes to packaging their products. All the bits and pieces wrapped in tissue paper, and the magnets had been covered with sticker foil. A gorgeous, gorgeous bag!

This is a quality bag that is well made and classic. I have had several of Fossil’s Sydney and Rachel totes, and they are my favorite purses. The size is perfect for your everyday needs or for travel. The workmanship and materials make it a long lasting bag. Not the cheapest, but a bargain for what you get.

The purse itself is great. Real leather and has held up well. Holds tons and the outter pockets are great for your phone and quick grab items. Even the bottom has withstood many floors and surfaces. But the straps are not real leather and have not stood up to daily use. Super disappointed that a quality bag would have such crappy straps. And replacement that match cannot be found.

I bought this purse in October 2024. I use it almost daily, and it looks almost new 2 years later! It's great to transport files for work from home and is large enough to hold my smaller crossbody along with all the back-and-forth work stuff. I got a great deal on it, but even at the price in 2026, it's worth the money for a quality leather bag.

I’m retired but still need tote to carry important journals, laptop etc. Fossil bags have always been quality leather and have comfortable shoulder straps at the right length. This bag has long zip so opening the bag is easy, 2 inside slip pockets and a full zip pocket. Your items will be so organized and you’ll look great carrying the bag. Nothing beats a Fossil Bag.

Buena calidad y buen precio.

I’m a fan of the Fossil brand and I had a black one similar to this. It’s hard to find a bag with outside pockets, which I like for easy access. This bag checks off all the right boxes for me, plus it looks great and good quality.
