Buy this if you are tired of staplers jamming!
These staplers cost a bit more, but the initial one I bought has had a much longer lifespan that other staplers I've purchased that too quickly develop a jammed staple and you are at a loss to fix it!I have now ordered three of them in total precipitated by the first one failing, but it may be my fault because I did not use the staples that are said to match this particular stapler. I haven't tried that hard yet to fix the one that is nonfunctional, but I liked it so much I decided to just buy two more because I have a LOT of work to do! And, it has been clearly superior to its competition---but do buy the staples they recommend to go with this product. Perhaps that has been my error. Always follow the directions, huh? It does help in life. With the two new staplers that arrived this week. I have made a point of inserting the staples I bought (but did not use) that are recommended to go with this product. We'll see if it makes a difference!Staplers seem to be finicky gadgets. They work, then don't work, and then /aybe you can get them to work. Augh! But still, this is among the best of the bunch and I recommend it.November 15, 2020 i am returning to put an addendum in this review.\ I blieve I left where I had purchased THREE of these staples, each time with resulting frustration. Why would they jam so quickly?I eventually did what we all should and read the instructions by the manufacturer for the use of this stapler. I had presumed any standard size stapler SHOULD work, but if you read the description supplied by the manufacturer, it says to USE ONLY A SPECIFIED STAPLE THAT IS PICTURED ON THE MAIN PAGE AND CAN BE PURCHASED WITH THE STAPLER.SO I BOUGHT THESE STAPLES.PERFECT. STAPLER NO LONGER JAMS. ALL THREE STAPLERS ARE NOW FUNCTIONAL. WELL, MAYBE ONCE IN A BLUE MOON THERE'S A JAM, BUT THIS IS ABOUT THE CLOSE TO PERFECT THAT YOU WILL GET FOR A STAPLER. i HEARTILY RECOMMEND, AND NOW i HAVE THREE OF THESE BEAUTIES SCATTERED AROUND MY OFFICE.BUT BE SURE TO BUY THE STAPLES RECOMMEND BY THE MANUFACTURER!!!!STAPLER IS ALSO STURDY. THEY FALL OFF MY OVERBURDENED DESK WITH REGULARITY ON TO THE FLOOR. NOT A PRBOLEM.THE STAPLER ALSO FEELS GOOD IN YOUR HAND WITH ITS ERGONOMIC DESIGN (i AM A WOMEN'S SIZE SIX). i LIKE THE RUBBERED TOP AND BASE---THE RUBBERIZED BASE REDUCING THE LIKELIHOOD IT WILL SCOOT OFF YOUR DESK OR WHEREVER YOU'VE PLACED IT.THE AESTHETICS OF THE STAPLER DESIGN ARE PLEASING COMPARED TO SOME OF THE UGLY, BLAND AND FUNCTIONAL LOOK OF MANY PRODUCTS FOR SALE HERE.DEFINITELY WOULD PURCHASE AGAIN. NOT LIKELY SINCE I NOW HAVE *THREE* BUT TYPICALLY WHEN i FIND A GOOD THING, I STAY WITH IT.KEEP IN MIND THE CAPACITY OF THE STAPLER---IT IS NOT GOING TO DO HUGE DOCUMENTS!HAPPY STAPLING! CHEERS!

Best stapler I've ever used!
I've owned Bostitch, Swingline and Staples brand desk staplers. They either get jammed or don't evenly crimp the underside. This works flawlessly and crimps flat. If anything changes over time I'll update my review, but so far I'm loving it.

Lifetime Stapler.
This stapler will save you money! I started in an office in 1993. Went through about 5 or 6 cheaper staplers until I purchased one of these for my office in 1996. I am still using that same stapler in 2024. I finally bought one for my home office recently and it is the same quality. I expect my adult children fight over it upon my passing.

Flat clinch is the future
I'm a coin collector, so I make heavy use of my stapler to seal so-called "coin flips" (those white cardboard squares lined with mylar). This created a significant amount of extra work, as I then had to manually flatten the "bubble clinch" of a standard stapler so that the sealed coin flips would stack and file properly without catching on each other or their container. This usually involved crimping the staples flat with pliers, or sometimes with flat head screwdrivers. I decided to investigate staplers after several years, as I was certain the problems presented by a "bubble clinch" were not limited to my purposes alone. Lo and behold, I discovered that flat clinch staplers exist. This little beauty has taken all of the effort out of sealing coin flips on multiple areas. It has what is called a dual lever design, which sounds like a useless gimmick until your first attempts to staple things after decades of fighting with those old warclub staplers -- you know the ones I mean, those rigid, boxy, eight pound Office Space-esque things that require external hydraulics to operate. A coin flip is cardboard and approximately the thickness of 10 sheets of paper to staple through, and I can staple them effortlessly. In addition, the main selling point of the stapler has made my life easier -- the flat clinch. I'm not precisely sure how it works, but I no longer have to spend several moments manually clinching staples flat with pliers or screwdrivers to store the coin flips. This thing was definitely worth every penny I spent on it just in reclaimed time alone. The best part is that this stapler uses ordinary staples -- the very same 26/6 staples I purchased for, and used in, my old stapler.
