Sturdy, well priced, effective.
Sturdy, quick assembly (10 minutes, maybe?), not too heavy. The footprint is a bit bigger than advertised (and the Amazon "see it in your room" tool got it wrong) but not egregiously so. Overall the product is as advertised. I included a typical Rubbermaid plastic trash can for reference. The underside is injection-molded plastic, not metal, but feels acceptably robust. Paint quality isn't great (runs, thin spots, chips), but for $25 I'm not complaining. The included tools worked satisfactorily. There weren't any torque specs or other measurement provided to know when the various fasteners were tight, so I went as tight as I could until the included 10mm wrench started rounding off the nuts for the main legs, and the fasteners for the support bars wouldn't turn anymore (though impressively the included Allen/hex keys didn't "cam out"). The stool sits level, with no wobble. It's critical to ensure that it's assembled on a level surface and that the assembler tightens the four support-bar faster sets in sequence to prevent the stool from warping or becoming distended and causing a wobble.

Great bedside step stool
This makes the perfect step stool if your bed is too high and you need a little boost! It’s very sturdy, was easy to put together, and worth the cost. It will last for many years —highly recommend

This is a great step stool.
I purchased this step stool for my laundry room after my old wooden one finally broke. This particular product has a great weight limit, so even my husband uses it, and he would never stand on the old wooden one. This is very heavy duty and reminds me of the ones we use in the hospital where I worked. It is very stable, doesn't slide around on my tile floor, and it is a good height for me to reach the cabinets above the washer and dryer. Would recommend.

Not impressed - more shaky that I thought it would be, and doubt the 600lb rating
Assembled this item and a few observations... It is a little more wobbly side-to-side than I would have hoped...I am not going to say it is dangerously wobbly, but it definitely has a slight amount of back and forth side-to-side. I don't think it will cause issues necessarily, but it makes me question the overall quality and stability of it. When attaching the braces that go side-to-side, it was very hard getting the bolt assembly tight...once it was tightened as far as it could (it is a threaded female/male combination that can only be tightened so far), there was still play in the bolt...you could spin it with your finger. Check out the excellent video WineGirl posted, she shows it exactly. I am not sure, but this could be contributing to the side to side stability issue. I did manage to tighten it down as much as I can with some effort, but still having side to side wobble. WineGirl's suggestion of a washer might help, I am going to try it. I highly doubt it can hold 600lbs safely. When you feet are planted solidly in the middle of the pad, maybe. But I am 6'3" 215lbs...when testing it, I notice if I stand more towards the front edge of the pad (not even on my toes, just more so my feet are hanging over the edge a bit, there is noticeable flex in the pad on that edge. By flex, I mean deflection in the pad itself, not that the entire pad is moving as one piece, but the actual edge couple of inches of the pad is flexing. I can't imagine someone weighing 300lbs standing on the edge without it being at significant risk of cracking suddenly - and forget 600lbs, absolutely no way. And to be clear, I wasn't standing in some odd way that isn't realistic, very much was a position within a normal operating range of someone might use it...for example, how someone getting in or out of a bed might place their feet. I think this will be fine for lighter people who are physically capable, but if you are getting this for someone who either has physical impairments or is a bit heavier I would say pass on this one. I am actually contemplating seeking a refund. I expect better quality, better machined parts, and a sturdier product for something that people are using to step up on.

Solid and lightweight
This step stool looks very nice, and it's easy to assemble. The legs feel solid, although they don't seat even on the floor when there isn't weight on the stool. This is not much of a problem when you step on it because one’s weight makes the legs even up, and the four legs point touch the floor at the same time. What makes me a little uneasy is the top platform construction, which is made of plastic and doesn’t feel very solid when you step on it. Even though it's rated to up to 600 pounds, it feels like it might give up with that much weight on it. In all, it seems a good step stool that can be moved around the house to wherever you need it without much trouble, just stay below the rated weight capacity so the plastic platform doesn't give up on you.

Sturdy and does the job.
I purchased a new bed that it too tall for me to get into. I placed this step stool beside my bed, and it gives just enough to get into bed unassisted. It is big help.
