Warning these are EXTRA SHARP, which is how they should be. I touched the edge and cut my thumb. So don't be like me. Lol, these are EXTRA strong and durable. The grip is the perfect fit. I am surprised at how good these are for the price I paid. The bluing of the blades are also awesome. That said, it is how well it works that is important.So let me share. I broke my shoulder and could only use one hand for a while. I could not find my cat fur scissors and since I had been using these scissors for a project, I grabbed them. Now these are not small and they are extra sharp. Do not do this if you have an untrusting cat, you will hurt him/her. My cat had a matt on his chest, down between his legs and it was pulling on his skin.Now, my cat was traumatized from being thrown out of someone's house at 12yo, into a blizzard. He was rescued and I got to be the one who became his kahu. So, we have a great trust between us. With only one hand, as he held still for me, I was able to cut the mat off so he could stretch again. He held very still and I am still amazed at his trust because of my goodness was I nervous. The scissors were so sharp, it made the job easy.Now I could tell you how it cuts through metal, through cardboard, whatever, cloth, but it was the sharpness that was perfect in cutting the mat off a cat's chest, SINGLE HANDED, without holding my cat. I could not have done it with anything less sharp. So very grateful for these scissors.

These scissors are AMAZING, great quality, cuts through my thick leather (>13 oz) and handles my lighter weight leather like paper! I love them so much, I bought another pair for non leather projects! It is really nice to find something at a lower price and really get something of value. I usually think to myself "well at least I didn't waste too much money on this piece of junk", but these scissors are SOOOO GOOD!

Very well made scissors. Substantially heavier than typical household types, but lighter than the heavy shop shears we use for thick mat cutting. We needed an in-between, but these will also work well for either end of the full spectrum of light to heavy work. Nice product, very sharp, comfortable to handle.

These are solid, sturdy scissors with some heft to them. They arrived sharp. I use these for multiple purposes for my bookbinding hobby. They cut paper and cloth. They work as expected. The handles are roomy for my fingers, and they seem like a good value.

They areThe blades are durable, very sharp, heavy enough that they don’t slip, and they fit my hand perfectly.I cut through corrugated cardboard board like butter.I got 2 pairs for myself and got a few for some friends. They also gushed over them. Gushed over scissors? Yes.They are THAT good!

I missed the size of this scissors when I ordered it. It’s a long one!! Other than that, it looks very well made.

Excellent, tough shears - useful for gardening and planting, cutting tough burlap used around root balls. Stayed nicely sharp throughout.
