Incredible water clarifier.
This product works amazingly. I use it whenever my tanks start to fog up or after a change to clear them up. It lasts about 4-6 months on one bottle in my 55g, 20g, and 10g tanks, and is well worth the $20 it costs. It won’t affect the tank’s smell, as the product’s sole purpose is to bind floating pollutants.

Works great to combat biofilm from driftwood
I put some driftwood in my 75gal and it quickly covered in biofilm. The water looked “dusty” so I tried this after reading the dust was tiny bacteria or algae. It was a little cloudy after using it, but I woke up to my tank being crystal clear. It’s blowing my mind, honestly. Great product!

Seal Broken
Not sure if this leaked or has been previously used. Seal was broken. I have yet to use this product, but I do enjoy the products from this brand.

Be patient and be careful
Great product. Just be sure to use half of the recommended amount as it can potentially be lethal to your fish as some species are more sensitive than others. You will have to wait a bit longer for the product to take full effect due to this, so keep that in mind. It can take anywhere from a few days, to a few weeks. In my case, it didn’t clear up my water up until 2 weeks after I had used it. The water in my tank was always cloudy even after weekly water changes and I couldn’t get it to be crystal clear, which was very frustrating. I am also aware that the size of my tank should be bigger (I will upgrade as soon as I can) and was definitely a huge factor towards my water quality being less than ideal, so I definitely took that into account before even considering giving this product any kind of review. Wish I had a before video of my tank to show how bad it was, just know it works well if you use it carefully and are patient. Very pleased with this product, my goldfish tank (the dirtiest tank with the cloudiest water because of how messy goldfish tend to be) is now looking good!

as described
all seachem products are great. they work exactly as described when used exactly as directed. It is the only system that I use for my planted aquariums and it has never failed me! this product is not an exception!

Excellent.
I don't own fish; I actually bought this to see if I could use it to get all the air bubbles out of a desktop toy: LED "jellyfish" tank. The additive forces water impurities out of solution near-instantly; after a few minutes of letting the pumps recirculate the water, I switched it off, and waited. In about two hours, all the previously dissolved solids had formed a thin layer on the bottom, and all but a handful of tiny bubbles had collapsed. If the tank had filters, I suspect the water would be totally clear, now. For my purposes, it actually works better than expected; when the pumps are running (on and off) for about two minutes, the solids stirred back up from the bottom turn the water very slightly murky, which gives the LEDs a cool "spotlight" effect; like shining a light through seawater. The bubbles from the tap water remain banished, and the latex "jellyfish" no longer bob around at the top. If only the jellyfish tank had shipped with a small amount of this. And filtration.

Works perfectly. Filters might get clogged because of how this product works - Rinse/replace filter media during treatment
This product works perfectly. My daughter's aquarium developed a nasty algae outbreak. It's summer, the ambient temperature of our home is higher, so the water temperature of the aquarium is higher. That coupled with a bright light in the aquarium hood, and you have a "perfect storm" condition for algae. I am fastidious about keeping my daughter's aquarium clean. I use Seachem Purigen and Matrix products in our power filter. Those two products keep the water crystal clear. I was going to take some before and after pictures of our algae ridden aquarium, but this stuff completely cleaned up the algae problem before I got around to finding my camera. The tank was immaculate within less than two hours. I've read reviews here by some folks who complained about their filter clogging. Well, that's a real possibility because of how this product works. Algae particles are so tiny that filters cannot remove them (they run right through the filter media). This product causes algae to "clump." The clumped algae becomes large enough for the filter to remove it from the water. Of course, if you have a bad algae problem, your filter might get clogged from the sudden amount of large particles in the water. Just rinse your filter media or use new filter media. This product is awesome. I've had nothing but good experiences with Seachem products. Their products actually work and they are easy to use.
