Transparent Chameleon Nail Flakes

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These look amazing over black gel polish!!! I got soo many compliments. It’s easy to do but looks like it’s been done by a professional. Can’t rate highly enough!It wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought it would be like the milar ‘pieces’ you can buy. It isn’t. It’s actually like powder pieces. Which makes it even better. If you apply delicately, looks like multicoloured milar flecks or pieces. If you apply pressure and or rub a little. The pieces crumble and you get a beautiful multicoulred powder effect. Looks almost like an oil slick.Have tried both methods and they both look gorgeous. Would definitely buy again. Of all the powders/effects I’ve purchased to put on top of polish, this is by far the very best.Can’t recommend enough. It’s a small pot, but a little goes a long way...will last for ages.Only minor niggle is that the gel polish seems to be a little more brittle when I apply this powder than if I’d just used the standard base, colour and Top coat. I am very hard wearing on my hands though so might be me. I’m lucky to get 5-7 days out of home gel manicure any way. I have a bonkers dog and don't wear gloves for cleaning/gardening. It absolutely doesn’t put me off using it though for how stunning it looks. Especially for a special occasion.

Very difficult to catch the effect on pale pink with this flake, but it is subtle and gorgeous for work, more dramatic than the camera suggests though. This is the red and gold variety that is more like rose gold and gold over a natural mani. Can't wait to try over black for a contrasting and defined colour pop.Very light weight powder flake that can be dotted for a broken glass effect on sticky layer of a gel colour or rubbed in for a more frosted holo look.Sits completely flat and smooth under no wipe top coat, it's more of a dust than a chunky and bulky plastic flake that is impossible to sit flush.Very simple to use, only tiny amounts needed on the tip of a nail art brush, hence the small pot it comes in.Will be definitely trying blues, greens and purples of the same for the wintry deep jewel colours I prefer.There are cheaper out there, but a longer wait to be shipped and many reports of pots sent being virtually empty. The quality of this product has not disappointed.

I've tried some of the cheaper flakes similar to this, and the quality difference is massive. The biggest positive is all the flakies are flat and small enough to lay on your nails perfectly and leave them smooth, which stops you needing half an inch of top coat to even it all out. Applies perfectly with a little silicone tool

Really nice and easy to use and love that you can get two different effects. If you buff it in, you get the ‘mermaid’ chrome effect (on the lilac nails); dab it on without buffing and it gives a broken glass/mosaic effect (black nails). The base colours are Wisteria Haze and Blackpool (both Bluesky). I like it :-)

Love, love, love these flakes. Very easy to apply, though I recommend using a slightly fluffy make-up brush, as this does go everywhere, but lays down nicely and the colours are gorgeous. Definitely will get more.

I used this over standard black nail polish and it looks fantastic!! Cover your nail polish in clear top coat, leave wet, and apply the flakies with a toothpick or fan brush. Then coat in a thick layer of top coat. It works perfectly and the flakies look stunning. The pot is quite small but it includes A LOT of flakies. I've done all 10 fingers and have barely touched the surface of flake mountain!Be warned that rogue flakies will break up into little glitter-like pieces that stick to EVERYTHING!
