Just a good and handy reference. Not fancy, but a good price.

I am an novice when gun smithing is concerned, however I would have been able to build, from scratch, my m1911 g.i. Gun. This book has a wealth of info to use and to build it the right way. Many tips, idea's and photo's to help along. I have done a bunch of research and in my opinion this is the best way to go. These gentlemen know what they are talking about. Also they make it fun to use. Highly recommend !

Another fine entry in the classic Skennerton series. I pick up one of these inexpensive and informative manuals for every gun In my collection that is covered, even if I have several books or other sources on the particular gun. Usually my first go-to when a question arises.

Fairly clear and easy to understand, at least for field stripping. Drawings, no photographs, so the full disassembly/reassembly is a little hard to understand. For the price, not a bad booklet to have though. Purchased one for myself and again for a family member.

The book was jammed pack with information. I just wish the pics where better. If you new to 1911 it is a good book.

Just what I needed. Not that much to know to take my 1911 apart but it's a great reminder because every gun is just a little different and since I don't use my 1911 all that often I don't have to clean it frequently.

I have used these books fo years. No disappointment here.

This is really good for a basic reference. If you want detailed specs or a very thorough manual this isn't it, but it's perfect for tear-down and reassembly or just understanding your weapon better.

Not really worth a great deal of cash, though it would be better than it is, but you don't know till you get it.
