super strong and consistent power output
The media could not be loaded. this is a set of 8 lithium batteries, they’re 1.5v, aa size; ordered it for my camera flash use, that required powerful battery for fast recharge time, lithium batteries has advantage over alkaline battery because they maintain full voltage throughout charge life but alkaline battery will drop, it doesn’t make much different for low power device but it’s obvious with high power device like flashbatteries came in a paper package, no plastic package to remove, they have a 10 years shelf life, so i’m not worry about getting more for backuptested it got really power output (over 1.8v consistently) i’m really satisfied with this product, would recommend

Extremely light and long-lasting
Although I’ve replaced the batteries used in most of our household devices and the kid's toys with rechargeable batteries, you can never quite get enough of AA batteries which always come in handy, especially when you urgently need them and don’t have time to recharge another set. The most common devices that drain rapidly are the kid's toys, particularly the kid's RC cars and of course, the multitude of remote controls used for TVs, set-top boxes, speakers and the like, and these batteries by Powerowl seemed a good alternative. In the box, you get 8 long-lasting lithium batteries offering 3000mAh of juice. I’ve so far used these on the Kid’s basketball hoop, which takes 3 double A’s to power the audio and LCD scoreboard and another 2 on the remote for the Soundbar in our living room. So far these are working great and I expect them to last a while considering the power output and the regularity of the usage of these devices. One thing to note, however, is how incredibly light these batteries are, they weigh considerably less than the typical AA batteries, which I’m sure has something to do with them being lithium rather than alkaline. Regardless, as mentioned earlier, it’s always a good idea to have some backup batteries that always come in useful to power devices in case of emergencies, and these batteries from Powerowl seem like a reliable set.

long life (when being used and stored) at 1.5V. Disposable.
PROS-a steady 1.5V-long shelf-life, a “just in case” source of powerCONS-disposableNOTES-I have two of these in a radio trigger for a photographic studio light. This trigger doesn’t work well with the typical 1.2V of NiMH batteries, and 15V alkaline batteries don’t last as long as I’d like. These are a very good option, and will keep me working (I haven’t managed to exhaust them yet).MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Good power
I've got these as an emergency power source for my torch that I keep in my car.The torch has a rechargeable battery but it can also take normal batteries. The last time I had to revert to normal batteries, they only lasted a short while as I think the cold basically did not do them justice, however with these being lithium, I have much more hope in these.Just to test them, I left them in the boot of the car over a very cold snap hitting -2 and then put these to the test on a large torch that takes 6 batteries and the torch lit up like it was plugged in.With the stated shelf life, I have much more hope and expectancy on these not to let me down.If I do end up using these over time, I will revert back and update this review as only time will tell the truth.

Not worth the money
Purchased for external security cameras, 1st camera they only lasted one day before system alert to say low battery and within a week all other cameras have the same problem. Better to buy a well known brand to last. I now have to take the time to replace all batteries that only lasted upto one week. Don't waste your money these will not last.

Lightweight but high power - good option for where replacing batteries is problematic
POWEROWL AA Lithium BatteriesEach AA battery is 3000mAh and 1.5v. Weight is 16g (which is lower than the 27g for a rechargeable, or 24g for an alkaline battery). Registered as full voltage on my battery tester.Worked perfectly in an aging Sony camera - which is fussy about rechargeable batteries. The batteries will be great as backup for the camera.Good option where you need long life and replacing batteries is problematic. The batteries arrive in a cardboard box - this has full product information. The packaging doesn't show the manufacturing date or the 10 year expiry date.

Long lasting
Sick of Duracell, they never last long time anymoreNot sure what happened to the batteries that used to last foreverNow it's full power up front and death in days ,weeks longest can get in led battery lights, if lucky but that's constant dimming& in lots cases have batteries don't work or last week. But these!Tested in exact brand led lights in garden , against Duracell plus, both next to each other. These are just as bright, but keeping brightness longer & guess what! Finally something that will last

Great battery idea but some information issues
I must admit I was drawn to these because of the long lasting power factor. If they have an extreme long lasting power factor then that must be environmentally friendly too, with less spent batteries going to waste and hopefully recycling centres. The box says, shelf life 10 years and for manufacturing date refer to packaging. Well I have looked at the batteries and the box and I cannot find any manufacturing dates. There’s a barcode on the box and some Chinese writing so maybe the date is in there? I think for the price I would want some reassurance about when these were manufactured? I can only try them out and trust they are exactly what they say, extreme long lasting. Other long lasting batteries do have dates printed on the battery. So because of this missing information I can only give a low rating.
